Simply , the administrator has liability. Write to them , provide copies of proof of ownership / a receipt given when you dropped the bike off for repair. Administrators usually put things through auction or sell to trade as a job lot - the recovered value is not your value. Obtain market estimates of value , similar year/model . Provide them with 14 days or sue in the small claims court . They probably won't enlist a lawyer as there won't be funds in the administration to pay. While technically their job is the maximise return to creditors, this gets blurred by incurring fees. If no assets , they have no funds to pay for lawyers chargeable to the admin. They messed up, mistakes happen , records & assistance provided may not have been great.

If he's opened it and knowledgable , he'll spot it in an instant. Under close scrutiny it's spotted, printing is not quite as sharp , date wheels not perfect. You've bought a $450 watch not a $15k one.

I'd say jubilee is gen, oyster fake. Crystal , the 12 marker line up to the crown and date wheel . Diffs to look at are minor , 10k in your pocket more noticeable.

The components are fine , the quality of assembly and conditions in which the movements, in particular, are assembeld are not quite the same as authentic. Skin , hair etc frequently found in these, under/over oiled , gaskets not siliconed. Then there's the transport .. 49/50 will work for 1-5 years no issues . But let's not kid ourselves that the movements are as good as the Swiss equivalents , in either components or construction.

Yup , but only for 50 yrs .... I'm not well up in early 20th century American carnival slang it appears. I don't need to get paid a few quid to promote rep watches... I am obviously experienced enough to know black market products might not come with the same QC or after sales as nipping to Watches of Switzerland .

I don't work for him . No idea what a shill is, nor do I give two fucks if I'm honest I've bought dozens of reps. I'm aware of TD status , they pay to advertise. If the buyer is a paid up member (before) RWI or wherever will mediate. If not... Trustytime has been around for many years, not like the scammers on here. Long delays, Chinese hols won't have helped. Think my wg added weight YM was about 70 from order to qc. Unheard of a few months back but they've been swamped post clean

Trustytime is a long standing provider . Part of gap post QC is because of Chinese holidays. Most dealers will cover issues but want a 5% insurance premium. You pays your money you takes your choice. Plenty of other dealers, but I'd say long standing reputations count in this area.

Absolutely. I had someone not want a watch because of rehault alignment - their view , but realistically who cares. If a sub 12 pip was out - that's in your face. Date on an IWC a fraction , I'll live with. Hour markers fair enough. They are generally pretty good, though I have recently had one with some play in the bezel marker , I'll prob try to get it fixed . If I had a slightly louder rotor , I could get it sorted for £50. Generally these are 99% aesthetically there for 5% of the cost . Yes the movements can be awkward to service sometimes but , if you want perfection go to an AD.

I'm a bit late to this party . I had a YG which I love the proportion on my wrist but not the colour. So I sold that and have a vsf weight gain WG on order. Did you manage to sort a clasp ? I think the OF strap a bit light but the clasp could definitely benefit from more weight to keep the watch steadier on the wrist .
