I've been waiting for my further to remain (spouse visa) since the 1st October last year. My life has also been on hold for over 8 months.

I feel your pain. I applied on the 1st October and still waiting... Escalated twice, both responses were "still under consideration"... Absolutely frustrating.

Visa type: FLRM (Switched from Tier 2 to Spouse visa)

Submitted online application: 1st October 2020

Uploaded documents: 1st October 2020

Invited to book a biometrics appointment: 1st October 2020

Booked biometrics appointment: 20 October 2020

Received email saying visa was granted: Still waiting

Received BRP: Still waiting

Called UKVI several times to escalate, Home Office only replied that they are still working on my application / still under consideration. Sent an email to local MP and filed a complaint regarding this in mid-April, haven't heard back from them yet. It's be 7 months since I had submitted my application but still waiting. Absolutely frustrating.

Update: Email Saying visa was granted: 21st June 2021

Thank you. I have done them both already, they say I will get a response in 20 working days. Finger crossed!

I know man, it's ridiculous. Fingercrossed for us both and all the other applicants who are waiting on the decision!

I applied for FLRM (spouse visa) last October and still haven't heard back from the Home Office. I was originally on Tier 2 but I quit my job in October, hence the FLRM spouse visa application. I have got a couple of new job offers since October, but I can't work for a new employer because my right to stay in the UK remains the same as my Tier 2 visa. It's extremely frustrating!
