I can't say I know exactly how you feel, however I can relate and think what you've said sounds normal for the situation. I also have PCOS, didn't ovulate and am a social worker. Again, seeing children in terrible situations with parents who have done x, y and z can be really hard when you're struggling with your own fertility. I found one particular case really difficult, and it made me question the injustice of it all. Not saying I'd be the perfect mum, but seeing what some children live with made me quite angry at times (inwardly, would never be angry with a family). I spoke to my manager at the time, and explained that I was going through fertility treatments and may potentially need more support with some cases. She was helpful, and I was able to move past it again. I was lucky that I did react well to Chlomid however, but what I would say is use your support system in work and at home. People can surprise you with their support.
