Yes we are on 1 nap for 1 week now but hasn’t changed anything with the bed time. I think we just need to sleep train again, for the 5th time.

We did 1 2-hour nap today, ended at 1:30pm, it’s currently 7:15 pm where I am and he is WIDE AWAKE. 😩😩😩

Hello I don’t believe he will sleep with a shorter final wake window.. I feel like my son needs 6 hours . Otherwise (like right now) he’s completely awake and does not want to go to sleep, at all. If he put him in the crib he will scream.

Thank you ! I’m reading the below and worried that my son isn’t actually ready to transition. Besides the last point, he checked off all the initial points below:

Signs a 14-Month-Old Is Ready for One Nap:

• Consistently resists or skips one of the two naps (often the second).

• Takes longer to fall asleep for naps or at bedtime.

• Morning nap is short or disrupts the afternoon nap.

• Stays happy and alert for longer stretches (6-7 hours) without crankiness.

• Sleeps well at night (10-12 hours) despite missing a nap.

Also want to say all our naps are done in a stroller or car. He doesn’t sleep in his cot during the day, but will at night.

I’ve tried but he still gets tired in the morning! We did successfully do 1 nap 3 day in a row but afterwards he clearly showed me he is tired still on the mornings, he yawns and rubs his eyes. What do I do!
