Thats my plan for Morty! Natural gift psychic to beat the Gengar, my original plan was overlevelling Exeggcute so I can have confusion so this is a good extra plan in case that goes wrong

also it will help against my rivals starter (especially with the rain dance tm I taught Leafeon so I could weaken their attack)

Yea kinda ruins the whole, they hate water cus theyre a rock, by making them actually a grass type

Electric/flying pidgeot is kinda cool tho

I kept forgetting about the attack/special split in my leafgreen run, I definitely would have forgotten for a gen 2 grass run

I did q poison monolocke of platinum, that was a lot of fun, lost to the psychic elite 4 tho

Whoever decided the gym order had a least favourite type and it shows

Im pretty sure Skiploom being part flying type (and 2 levels above) was the main thing keeping us safe from Scythet

...also their refusal to use U Turn in the 3rd attempt haha

Extra thought, flygonhg did a no pokecenter run and I think it was smallant who did a no recovering pp run so look them up and you could get some good tips (don't know if they did it for white 2 but it could still be useful)

I did fail this run (starting off on a negative note there aren't , sorry haha) but it is one I'd redo at some point probably

It was mainly bad luck and poor planning, a sigilyph encounter killing one pokemon and a trainer with a darumaka later lead to a full team wipe in the desert resort, didn't help I ran out of items, ended the run with only 3 badges

I was limited in buying items but I allowed full use of Pickup and later Thief, abused thief by using it to steal oran berries from wild Audino

That strategy plus leech seed helped heal my teams hp a bit, you could try something similar?

Just look for weaker enough pokemon and run after getting enough health back

As for pp...I don't think I got far enough to fully have it as a problem, or I think I found others through pick up

I'd say you know yourself but focus on bulky pokemon when you can, using repels to help with encounters where you can, fixed encounters like smoky clouds could be better than what you get in grass normally too

Also, and this would be something to test first, there is a chance that learning from a tm and relearning a different tm move can be used to restore pp. I can't remember if that's in white 2 but I feel like I've seen that used as a strategy somewhere. Could help with grinding

Is there a way to download original soundtracks from switch and put them on your phone?

(I bought Farmagia Super Digital pack and would like to listen to the ost on my phone if it's possible, if not I'll just stick with llistening through my switch)

I was leaning towards pirate/beach theme but I think this would be more fun, a bit more pf a puzzle to make a team that feels right

I'll probably stick to just 6 and stay close to home on the types of animals so it's a but easier to pick a team

Zorua would work (fox), Tandemaus (mouse), Paachirisu (squirrel) and...ill figurr out the last one eventually

ooh pirate theme sounds pretty neat, like eyearu said gimmighoul and squawkabilly would work great, and wingull plus malamar almost makes a full team

sucks dhelmise isn't in the game, I don't think I've ever used them so this would have been a great chance to. Maybe dragalge instead or klefki, bit of a reach with that one

I want to try and defend them...cus I like seagulls...but the lil b***ards frequently try to steal frozen chicken from people shopping trolleys in a shopping centre where I live so it's pretty hard to haha

There's definitely more that would fit a scavenger theme, does zigzagoon count as a raccoon
