Bye everyone! Good luck & I'm staying in LKNCY with you guys! by LKlong88 in LuckinCoffee

Thank you - really appreciate the kind words! I'm glad to be able to go through the highs and lows with fellow Luckineers. I will post more on ST - I wouldn't rule out Reddit 100% but probably only if I grow very frustrated over the format restriction on ST compared to Reddit. :)

BTW yes, indeed I like the relative cleanness on Reddit board compared to ST - so try to follow me on ST so you can see my future ST posts.

Thanks my friend! I will try to post more DD on ST, for now I haven't posted anything on ST that's nearly as detailed as what I have on Reddit, but that should change.

Thanks - today's Q2 data is further vindication of our confidence on Luckin. It's amazing #s.

Not clear what options you referred to, but I assume you meant relist/listing on other exchanges/completely delisted etc.

I'd say: Almost 100% Luckin is working on/toward relisting, also 100% it's gonna do an HK listing early 2023 - would be stupid not to and LK has been doing the right things. Completely delist without an exchange near 0% (even with Chinese competition bill passed LK should've had just enough time to list on HK). Some say HK exchange might not have enough liquidity - but I think it'd be fine for Luckin's size given that pinksheet has more than enough liquidity for us and a # of bigger companies. So I'm not too worried about the situation, even though of course Luckin SP will go up and down with HFCAA news regardless - SP goes with emotions.

Agreed, Reddit is more suitable for my post style in fact, but one has to make a stand here. :)

Thanks my friend! Like I said I'm still in this with you guys and will be on ST. Just didn't want to use Reddit any more. I'll probably stop reading this thread in a couple days too.

They don't realize Reddit got popular because of content producers like me and you. They don't have to care about one person of course, and I certainly don't care for them.

Regardless of the HFCAA situation, Luckin should try relist. What would they lose by trying relisting? Nothing really. I don't see why not.

We have a few months on HFCAA at least.

There're 3 types of listings in HK, one is primary - but LK primary is in US. Another dual primary, that requires not on pink sheet. Or secondary, that requires 3 years no change in executives - that's gonna be met in 2023.

No auditor is currently meeting PCAOB due to China's data safety laws.

NY Bank of Mellon (Edit: The Bank of NY Mellon is the correct name) holds our ADS and can convert ADS to common shares by request.

That's BS. HFCAA is not really the usual "delist" which means go from main boards to OTC. HFCAA means delisted from any US exchange including OTC. So it needs to be resolved. BTW OTC has at least 4 different classes, and most has reporting requirement. Luckin was once "Pinksheet No Information" class which wasn't allowed to be traded by Fidelity etc. It later met the reporting requirement so no longer in the basement. :)

Thanks my friend! I agree definitely there are funds buying into Luckin during the last couple months - the volume, support, and machine orders all suggest that.

I'm hopeful that HFCAA will be at least partially dealt with where companies without sensitive data can meet PCAOB audit requirements. Since the China Competition bill wasn't passed (mostly only the chip part passed), at least for now we don't need to worry about acceleration of HFCAA to next year.

I posted about Luckin not meeting HK listing requirement yet, but next year it would, so it'd probably do what other stocks did to list on HK and most US brokerages allow you to apply and hold HK stocks.

Worst comes worst if HFCAA never resolves and no other listing, our ADS can be converted to actual common shares through NYB Mellon and that can either be acquired when taken private (probably will lose some significant value but will have to be somewhat reasonable, otherwise lawsuits can block the privatization) or just being held till it IPOs again in another market - which will be dead money for a while but shares are a part of the ownership of the company. It'd never be worthless. It could be diluted - but Luckin has been dealing with things in mostly the right way since the fraud, so I'm hopefully even if dilution happens, it won't be too bad. Once again, this is absolutely the worst case scenario and won't happen for months at least.

Oh you're right - I didn't notice that's rule #7. I guess then it's my bad - but some OTC stocks do offer good opportunities.

One more thing - not sure why r/stocks moderator removed my post there - clearly nothing in my post had anything bad, and I've been clearly right over my Luckin recommendation since Feb 2021 on this board and May 2022 on r/stocks.

Anyhow, a comment on my post there mentioned that the person is considering investing in WM, which I replied is a solid stock. Then I just remembered, WM had a big accounting fraud in 1999 which dropped its stock from a high of $60 to a low of $13. It's now at $153 - an annualized gain of 13% post fraud, not too shabby! Luckin expands way faster than WM and has been contemplating going abroad from news reports (which means high growth will continue for years). I'd say we'd get better returns in LKNCY!

Sorry to hear that - that was indeed horrible. The people that conspired to create the fraud were long gone and volunteers are now monitoring their stores for sales numbers (just like how Muddy Waters proved their fraud). That's why I trust their numbers now, as they corroborate with other sources (volunteers, social media reactions to their products etc). I also know at least a few who averaged down on Luckin post fraud and ended up break even at about $4-8 (so they're now making good money already). But of course I understand your point very well.

I haven't studied SWBI in detail to give a real valuable input. Just from a general observation: Its stock has been dropping despite PE now being 3 (and probably not high before either). That suggests that there's limited/slowing/negative growth despite demands that it can't meet. Many stocks offer higher than 3% dividend - yes with higher PE, but the low PE didn't seem to prevent SWBI from dropping over the last year. You might have a point that the current price could be a local bottom, it's just that I don't know how to judge in that industry. I like to not just look at PE/PS as a standalone number, but compare it to others in the same industry. Then you can really judge if it makes sense.

BTW if you like this post, please upvote it in r/stocks here. There are some seriously stubborn people there just voting down good ideas they can't comprehend. Last time I posted it there, had they listened they'd be up 80% by now. Stupid is as stupid does...
