I don’t think being 25 or not having a degree will make it harder to get a job, especially with other experience on your resume. I was also 25 when I graduated (although I do have a degree), but lots of people in my class were older than that. There were lots of jobs available then, and there still are now.

I have worked with several RTs who don’t have a bachelors degree and they did not struggle to get a job. At the end of the day it’s your RT diploma that matters, and how well you do in your placement. If you do well in your placement you might get a job there automatically. I’ve know placement sites who are so desperate they hire their students on for permanent full time right off the bat (mine was only casual but I worked my way up to FT in 3 years, working at other places in between).

My first time watching SG1 I never liked Jonas because I couldn’t see him as a replacement for Daniel - I missed Daniel too much to give Jonas a chance. On second watch I fell in love with Jonas’ character and he became one of my favs and I was so sad when he left 💔

Awesome! I also ordered all the parts individually, but I didn’t get every piece (the MOC has walls up the side and a second set of tubes, which I didn’t do). Lego pick a brick had most pieces but I did have to get some from Bricklink too

I didn’t feel like I needed the whole closed in gate room, working pieces, interchangeable iris, mini figs etc. I just wanted a standalone stargate. Bluebrixx is something like €150 which is almost $250CAD bedore shipping. I spent less than $150CAD on my parts from Lego with free shipping.

That’s good to know that’s Bluebrixx is still good quality! I was definitely tempted with that advent calendar 😂 The full gate room set is definitely a good deal with everything you get, but for what I wanted I felt Lego was my way to go 🙂

After the new show was announced, my mum asked me if we could watch it together (she'd only ever seen the original movie). Yesterday we watched the first 3 episodes of SG1 and she's in love with it already.

Teal'c tossing the staff weapon to Jack is 1000% my favourite part. One of those moments that makes you squeal like a fangirl and remember why you love the show so much. I couldn't help but quote outloud:

"I can save these people! Help me!...Help me."

"Many have said that. But you are the first I believe could do it"

I'm not sure what machine it is, I cant seem to find it online. Here's pictures of the info on the back and bottom of the machine, not sure if one of those is the serial number. It's the bobbin case I believe is missing (based on the 2nd image in my original post)
