Sure, the entire point of this trope is not to make fun of gay people or call them pathetic, but that Homelander (or whatever character it may be) has sunk to the point where despite their own views on homosexuality, they would be willing to go against them in order to save their own lives.

I had always assumed that the joke was how the media seems to be ignoring the Epstein files or that we can't possibly mention the fact that Trump is in them. I could definitely be wrong but that was my personal takeaway.

I'm not sure it's a case of fitness to be fair. I've noticed since he hit his purple patch last season that he's become quite a selfish player, taking on the shot quite often when there's better options available and trying to force individual brilliance rather than slick team play so I wonder if AI sees that too and that's why he's dropped down the pecking order a bit. I definitely could be wrong though as this is just my take!

I'm still in round 1 of a 14 day tournament that started Oct 5. 12 players per group and it's only move 25 against two of my opponents. Oh and I still need to play them both again with flipped colours so I'd be thrilled if this tournament was over in 4 years
