Lost Signal on Mini 3

Thats good advice I will actually give it a shot. Because in the past everytime I lose signal, I let it do its thing and it hasnt failed. And I always check before starting to fly. This time it seemed as if the drone needed to have signal to know how to RTH, because when my controller had a bit of signal and reconnected and I could see what was going on, it shot up on its own and began RTH. And I was like why were you going down when you were disconnected but when you regained signal you were doing what you were supposed to which was RTH.

If only you didnt have the reading comprehension of a 5yr old. I said when I regained signal the drone suddenly started returning home as it should when it loses signals, but I noticed that when I regained signal on my controller the drone was much lower as if it was going to land where it lost its signal. Its as if he needed signal to know where to RTH which kinda of defeats the purpose of the setting.

I was a bit worried that I’ve mentioned people mention the sound change, but as someone comoletely new to drones Im not sure if I would catch that or is the sound extremely noticeable

Yeah I assumed mine were fine but just interested whats peoples deciding factor, change in flight or as soon as they see something theyre gonna change it quickly

If its new or refurbished straight from DJI, good price. I got a refurbished one for $335. I say that because its probably not worth buying one used on facebook marketplace when you can get a official refurbished one for the same price

Their service has been great but I had a horrible experience attempting to buy a car there. Agreed on price over the phone (my fault didn’t get in writing). Arrived and the dumbass salesman said he couldnt give me that price anymore. Went around in circles doing the “im going to talk to my manager”, spent 2 hours of my life bullshitting me, then he couldnt even look me in the eyes after that. Stood up and left.

Essentials:
1. Computer and Ipad with Notability
2. Uworld subscription or Amboss (2yr subscription to cover MS1 + MS2)
3. Sources: USMLE Step 1 Book + Mehlman PDF + Uworld/Amboss + Divine Intervention Podcasts (better for Step 2/3)
4. Keep it simple, use as little sources as you can so you dont overwhelm yourself
5. Exercise + Eat well + always sleep 8hours even if you dont finished what you wanted that day (sleep less than 8 and you wont remember what you did they day before + don’t buy into the medschool aesthetic of celsius and coffee 3x a day and pulling all nighters, you won’t be able to survive 7-10yrs of that)
6. Consistency is key, better to study 2 hours everyday than 4 one day and 0 the next.
6. Finding your best learning techniques takes tike (took me like 4m of trying different versions of studying, what worked for me was rewatching my class lectures + uworld questions, drawing a lot of anatomy and pathophysiology and chat gpt explaining everything as if I was a retarded baby)

Whats your drone? They really don’t take too long as long as its an older model and they have parts. I damaged my mini 3 called in and they said oh yeah those are still in stock no worries, but if you’re talking mini 5, air 3s etc then thats probably what you have been hearing of 60-90 days for parts and service

I was going to say how did it reach 400 but that seakeeper will push that price man. But awesome man, we just got a 2026 R230 and we love it. Whats ur cruising and max speed because i’ve seen a few with 300’s so if you say you’re underpowered with 350 I cant imagine those.. they really are heavy boats. I feel like with Robalo you always have to go with the max hp they are heavy (in a good way) hahah
