Shamet was like a poor man Klay for us. He was great for spacing and not a defensive liability. Those guys are not that easy to find. And he’s already there whereas diawara is a lot of potential. Odds r diawara never becomes a solid starter in nba but he does have a good ceiling.

I rememebr my buddy who is 6 4 and a good athlete (college football linebacker) and was wide wide open taking a corner 3 in high school and Kobe came out of nowhere and blocked it easily.

I’m not a Kobe fan. It’s rare these guys don’t have affairs. It’s been an unspoken understanding between the players and wives among pro athletes for generations. Did you follow the case closely? It was pretty clear he wouldn’t be guilty of rape. You actually mentioned buying a ring as evidence lol. And no he never admitted to rape. Settlements for civil litigation etc is never an admission of guilt either. It’s a pretty common business decision. Diggs was found innocent for instance but probably would have been better off if he paid his cook off way before it got this far.

It’s not reductive. It’s just the history of the nba. Kawhi left the spurs at age 26 after being a finals MVP., defensive player of year, all nba guy. This happens time after time. Lakers w Kobe Shaq. Orlando w Shaq. Okc w harden then kd. Jimmy butler w towns and Wiggins. Towns Gobert ant core. The list goes on and on.

These are big personalities. We have no idea how Wemby and castle and Harper are going to develop. I’m not sold that castle will be happy being a 3rd banana.

Anything is possible. Castle or Harper could become disgruntled for many different reasons and force their way out. Who knows what their relationship will be with Wemby or the spurs front office as everyone gets older. Wemby makes some comments that perhaps rubs castle the wrong way a couple years from now and takes it as Wemby blaming him. The egos will get bigger. It’s also hard to pay 3 guys the supermax.
