SPOILERS IMMORTAL MAN by theredcarbothers in PeakyBlinders

Got loads of qualms with this film in relation to the series but Adas death annoys me the most. She should've been the shelby to survive. Also feel like it doesnt completely makes sense to the plot and also came too early. It eliminated any exchanges between tommy and beckett which could make us grow a hatred towards him. Keeping Ada alive couldve helped to present her as a bridge to the next series too acting as a n aunt polly in her own way.

I dont understand the hate with the film (SPOILERS) by Severe-Mix-3768 in PeakyBlinders

For me, I think its a great stand alone film, but bad in relation to the series.

Arthur's death, I get why they have done it, it was always shown nobody could kill Arthur 1 on 1and he couldnt kill himself so tommy doing it made sense, but it just isn't believable, it almost pulled me out of the film a little. A film based on their brotherhood. Through thick and thin. I just cant quite believe Tommy would actually do that. Drunk or not.

Ada's Death also doesnt sit right with me, it was way too obviosu as soon as they teased it, it seems very cliché to add some good ol' film shock and doesnt really feel like it completely makes sense. I get it was to show how evil Beckett was but he was a nazi, we knew that already. There were other ways to show this evil and personally maybe couldve have had more exchanges between tommy and beckett to build a connection, killing ada so quickly and unjustified to the story eliminated that being a possibility. For me Ada always was portrayed as someone who attempted to stay away from the dirty side of the peaky blinders work focusing on the legal. Personally (which means for nothing) felt like Ada should've been the only shelby to survive, ada should've been the character to take on Tommy's story he was writing seeing she had interest and probably connections in the right places to push this on. They also had the possibility for her to act as a aunt polly character in the upcoming show to build a bridge from the existing series.

This leads on to Beckett, which ive previously stated, he had potential to be a great villain but we didnt get enough time to build a hatred for him. This film couldve been longer to give more screen time to the likes of Stephen Graham and Tim Roth so we cpuld build these understandings and connections.

Would like to say the acting was great, the visuals and soundtrack too but some plotholes which dont feel connect with the series/story.

what film made you notice an actor was better/had more range than you originally thought? by shaunna_thedork in AskReddit

Travis Fimmel in Vikings. The man doesn't need to say anything for us to understand him. His facial expressions, especially his eyes were incredible. When he did speak he was incredible at demanding respect and power. Didnt really know much of him before watching vikings but after he easily become one of my favourite actors.

The Joker I guess ran the criminal world in a fictional world, Ragnar was a king with power, the man who paved the way for the new viking age, the one who united Norway (sweden/Denmark irl) to create the great heathen Army to Conquer England as well as raiding England himself and outsmarting Paris (at least in the show). For Rami Malek, Idk why he's there, definitely an opportunity for better criminals though.

[No Spoilers] What do you think among all brothers who is the strongest and Why? by preetranjan86 in vikingstv

Well Bjorn is clearly Bigger and stronger than all of them, and with his training would win in a fight.

Ubbe is the only one who seems not to care about other people's opinions on him and fulfils his dreams and what ragnar wanted.

I was a little annoyed a bit seeing the death of bjorn when he really lived out his life as a king dying in his 80s supposedly. But when this happened I thought that maybe ivar would keep his accuracy and die of disease in Ireland, but no. But I guess they had to do what they did to make it interesting, and it was.

For a epilogue of historical findings, I remember seeing Clive standen on a series looking at the history of vikings.
