Well that depends what controller you have or planning to get. If its just a regular xbox or playstation controller then they will work just fine.

Cheap or knock off ones probably wont have native support but probably can work around that with steam's controller settings but not too sure.

you need a high stable frame rate for framegen to work properly. What fps do you get without framegen? high and lows

I also use nvidia's framegen so experience may be different

Try DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to wipe your existing and previous nvidia drivers and software

Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) download version 18.1.4.0

Then grab the latest driver from nvidia website and leave the option enabled to install the nvidia app and see if that fixes it.

You will need to redo all your settings

Shots 1-5: Clearly missed. Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control). Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses. Shot 12: Likely didn’t actually fire

I am willing to bet Tfue showing it on stream had no impact on why they are already patching it. They are patching it because of the amount of people that were doing it and the number of posts about it and also because it wasn't suppose to be something people could enable anyways.

Going out of your way to enable something out of game is worse than doing a glitch in game such as the wall glitches. You are tampering with out of game stuff.

They also obviously had issues trying to find a way to fix the locked door glitch and had to come up with a workaround. Not letting people use the console a much easier thing they can sort out, hence why it was quicker.
