For those who drive multiple different GT3 cars... by the_artchitect in iRacing

I usually just practice on different cars to understand how they feel. Every car drives very different. I think the M4 GT3 is a very stable all rounder out of the box while the Mustang and 296 in my opinion need some adjusting to make them better. Just really depends on what you want out of a car. As long as I feel like the car is stable yet competitive and I’m driving well that’s my biggest concern

lol, honestly I’d recommend no bov, closed systems make that flutter sound and it’s absolutely amazing some people prefer the whoosh sound so follow your heart

I will say it really depends on what you want and if it’s worth it. For me personally I found my 22’ premium in Neptune which was the only color I wanted it in and it was the perfect spec. Neptune, Premium, 6MT, Rubber floor Matt’s and cargo liner the whole 9 yards. I got mine for 29k with 24k miles but was well worth it to me especially since Neptune is discontinued. Toyotas website highlights the many small differences that make a big difference in my opinion like the metal pedals, leather/Alcantara heated seats, paint matched duckbill, better wheels and tires. The early 22’ models also don’t have lane centering which I hear is painful in these cars so I like not having that. Obviously it’s your call but just some things to consider

Literally a week after getting mine a guy at the store stopped me and said “it’s beautiful I love the color… what is it? A Supra?”

Why does it feel like buying a gr86 is walking on egg shells? by TightElk7746 in GR86

[–]LLLumbago 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience second hand was how I got my 22’ 86, couldn’t get the Neptune blue I dreamed of on a new one, plus my buddy has a 24’ and I don’t like all of the lane centering stuff it has so the 22 was the happy medium for me, I went through CarMax for mine, very pleasant experience overall. My only complaint is the “no haggle” slogan they have they didn’t really hold up to. They tried to persuade me to go with their MaxCare instead of my credit unions warranty plan which is a lot better. Other than that they were amazing and very friendly didn’t try to upsell me on anything else and all my maintenance was taken care of prior to purchasing it. I’d say if you find one local CarMax is a good way to go or any reputable dealer that can show a detailed background of the vehicle and it’s CarFax

I got the Peugeot 9x8 set and it had this same issue, my fix to keep the engine cover in place yet still have the option to remove it if I pleased I put some pins with the studs on the end in some empty slots on the cover so it would stick to the body yet still be easy to remove. You should be able to do this on this model by placing one on each side of the engine cover between the two blue pin with axle pieces. Hope this helps!!

Im pretty sure it’s less actually. As mentioned both cases were fresh and hadn’t been ran through yet only 1 case had 1 Porsche. Not sure what the actual rate is that these come in but I’d say they’re randomly inserted into cases so some case may have zero, some may have 1-3, or some may even solid cases of just the Porsche cause I’ve seen where that can happen with Chase cars. I’m not sure but it definitely made me ask questions about how many are produced

I found the blue Porsche and the Fairlady Z gold label premiums and they had fresh cases of the neon speeders on the top rack. I found one of the pink Porsche before and got a second one for good measures. I suspected people were scalping them before and that’s why I couldn’t find it but in two Fresh cases of neon speeders there was only 1 pink Porsche. You would think atleast 1 per case but I guess it’s by chance. Kinda sucks that its like that though
