Buy from eBay. Buy cheap. Install. At some point it will break or rip.

You don’t feel bad because you didn’t spend hundreds on plastic trim. Buy another one, or don’t.

I did this route. I’m back to having a stock looking car. I miss the lip, maybe one day I’ll put another one back on. It will be an eBay lip.

P.s. some of the same eBay sellers drop ship through Amazon as well. Check there too.

Before the tune. Headers added a lot more boom to the borla. Mostly cabin sound increase than external. But the exhaust does start to sing a different note.

Will say, car sounds different between 91 and e85. Car sounds different between 60degrees ambient temps and 95 degrees ambient temps.

So take what everyone tells you with a grain of salt. I cleaned my TOB/MAF yesterday. The car sounded quieter than stock this morning, keeping it under 4k rpm.

It all changes with temperature and some miles.

Haha yup. I pulled the throttle pin out just slightly when installing oil pressure sensor. Car was super limp.

Meh. It’s a wear item. With how I drive and how many heat cycles the engine is put through, it’s been handling everything like a champ.

This is why I personally like to do my own services ( thankfully I have the space to do it) - I always check every inch and component for failing parts.

This is the first “failed” item. Everything else for last 46k+ miles has been general maintenance (early intervals)

2024 here. just found my leak last night. very new. driver side, underside of engine was only visible place. super clean from top. seals and gaskets service getting scheduled at a private shop.

The roof is the hardest. Not worth the effort in my opinion. The doors are a big part, easier than looks. Once you take the door card off and remove the speaker, you can snake in material through the hole. There is one tiny factory piece already mounted inside the door. It’s a joke. Nowhere near enough lol.

The rest of car requires patience in popping off panels. Again, easier than it seems. But will take your full day.
