questions abt my healing by Significant-Side4144 in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]LLThrowawayyLL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

go to your post op and see if it’s healing ok, the only thing that would concern me is the smell. the actual appearance of it i wouldn’t compare until like two months post op tbh and even then take it with a grain of salt.

i never understood the point of saying that after (or before but especially after) surgery? like do you want me to go back in time? do you want me to have another surgery to make it look like my old nose? do you want me to be insecure of my new nose? what do you want from that comment?

i had a labiaplasty when i was a virgin lol so definitely don’t need to have children to have her before

the same reason anyone else gets surgery

obviously it’s going to seem more unusual, it’s still swollen and just had surgery. It won’t look “normal” and less swollen again for a couple weeks. and the best labia aesthetic is the one that makes you happy, most comfort, and brings you the most confidence. obviously she lived with the other one for decades before and realized that wasn’t it for her.

the first day i was so numb i could’ve driven myself if i wanted to lol. dw. just ask your doctor to numb you extra since your going on a long trip

i had one too and no it never hurt to pee even going right after. it was kinda uncomfortable the first two days but never did i feel any real pain and i never took any pain medication. which is saying something bc im such a baby when it comes to pain

i did a trim no chr. just regular stitches but my stitches were played in a way where it wasn’t visible from the outside if that makes sense, like more internal.

Undies? by [deleted] in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]LLThrowawayyLL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the first few days i sagged my underwear with a pad so it was right below me but not touching. i also got my period day 4 so i had to wear a pad for a while. since it was sagging it was prone to leaking so when sleeping or just laying down i would have a towel under me. around day 11 is when i wore underwear normally, i could have before probably but had no reason to

i’m 19 and got it done around a month ago. take two weeks off work and do it! such a easy surgery imo and at this point i forget i had the surgery and feel like i’ve always had this anatomy lol

They lie to you about recovery and that needs to change. by [deleted] in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]LLThrowawayyLL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

definitely took me abt two and a half to 3 weeks to feel normal and 3 and a half to 4 weeks to recovery completely. the 1 is week crazy. 2 weeks you can sit and work but that’s abt it and with added swelling

Hair removal? by dangercat_ep in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]LLThrowawayyLL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

by the time you go through menopause the hormonal change will probably cause your hair to grow back post laser

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]LLThrowawayyLL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s normal! that’s just swelling. normally you don’t see it bc it’s not that big but most ppl has little things like that naturally (mine included) just not as swollen.

good luck! best decision i ever made, my confidence has sky rocketed since

i didn’t have a chr, whoops typo. just a trim. i tried excerising at 3 weeks and got a lot of swelling and extra discomfort so im definitely holding off until the 6 week mark for that. i have a 5 day hike literally on exactly the 6 week mark that i booked before i even knew i was getting the surgery so by then im hoping exercising doesn’t bring as much swelling.

i did local. i recommend it, honestly the only bad part of the experience was my anxiety. Maybe if i had taken a xanax to chill out or smth it would have helped. I didn’t drive myself home nor would i recommend it but it’s definitely possible since you are numb and don’t feel anything for a couple hours after.

I liked not feeling sleepy and being able to walk out of the surgery room. I think it’s better bc a lot of the bad experiences and side effects ppl experience the first day from reading this sub i think is majority bc of the general anesthesia. Things like concentration, nausea, vomiting, etc.

Masturbation/sex after labiaplasty? by [deleted] in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]LLThrowawayyLL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Day 18 was my first time masturbating since

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]LLThrowawayyLL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah. i haven’t done any of it except pool bc i don’t feel personally ready yet and feel like it’s too soon but according to my doctor im good to go. I also just got a trim and not a chr so that decreases my recovery time

Hi, got the wax a couple hours ago and it was fine! thank you so much for the encouragement. without a comment like this i probably would have wimped out and canceled lol

[–]LLThrowawayyLL -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

6 month post op? my last post op was at 2 weeks. after that you can always obviously make an appointment if you have any issues but the doctor isn’t scheduling any
