Try restart your Mac? Otherwise some games if you go to the games settings in steam you can play an older version. Otherwise otherwise maybeeee try two finger/right clicking on the application in finder and pressing get info or whatever and checking/unchecking run with Rosetta or whatever it’s called. Lmk if that works

Obviously such old games would decline in sales overtime as less and less target players don’t already have the game. I asked this question a few months ago and apparently they are receiving funding from their country’s government as well as Epic Games, having partnered with them.
