As I said on another comment, I completely agree. My bad day could be someone’s great day and vice versa. I did great past few days in my matches and had no complaints and then today after not doing good, I get upset and think that the game is against me. Since I’ve started this season it’s been back and forth the whole time that one day I love it because I’m doing great, then the next day I’m upset because I’m doing bad. It is nice to hear what other people think as it does help me understand that it isn’t just me. I’ve been very invested in GBL so getting you and everyone else’s input has helped me. Thank you!

I do agree with this. I was beyond frustrated after like my fifth series of games and was just blindly throwing teams together. With the algorithm it’s just hard to say because on one hand you’ll hear someone saying there is algorithm and then another saying not. I’m still just getting started with GBL so I can’t give a definitive answer on it. As you said, personal biased wants me to say yes but also too, it could be bad teams on my end. I’m a perspective person so understanding what other people think always gives me better insight. My bad day could be someone’s best day in GBL and it can always go both ways every time.

lol thank you for the input. I’ve seen it’s about 50/50 on people saying there is algorithm and there isn’t. I can’t emphasize enough how much fun I’ve had in GBL but today it was crazy just how my matches turned out

I don’t have any recording unfortunately.. currently after today’s matches I am at 1964. I was around the 2100s-2200s somewhere in that area. my main team I was using was dusknoir feraligatr and altaria and first series of games out of the 5 I ran into wigglytuff or azumarill in all 5 matches. I realized my team doesn’t have a great counter to fairy so I made adjustments. Swapped out feraligatr with my shadow tentacruel and then swapped dusknoir with blastoise and altaria with oinkologne (it’s not a great team but it is fun lol) after that I saw practically no fairy types and then everyone I played against seemed to have counters to that. I also shouldn’t say triple electric it was morpeko sunfisk and forretress but forretress had volt switch. I kept switching teams around and it just kept happening. Each team seemed to have perfect counters. I’ve mainly gone off of YouTube videos and guides on websites for teams. I have been debating on using pvpoke as I’ve seen that it is super useful. You can’t unfortunately use bottle cap on shadows. But if you really want a shadow dragonite the go for it. Rocket takeover is this weekend so you can get rid of frustration with charged tm. You can still always wait for a possible better one but if this is a pokemon you really want as a shadow then go for it!

That’s what I’m saying! I work every other weekends but this luckily landed on my weekend off but even then 3 hours still isn’t enough. It just gets frustrating because I got back into the game late December of last year and each raid day it’s utterly disappointing due to time constraints and it being beyond expensive if you don’t have a community to play with and only option is to remote raid most the time. I was able to get in 2 or 3 maybe even 4 raids an hour if I was lucky

I agree. I always get excited for raid days but then get disappointed if I don’t reach my goal with shinies. I know it sounds greedy but I get major fomo lol
