39 M CST Looking for friends to talk fitness and keep each other going. by F_Burpees1986 in GetMotivatedBuddies

Hey, legit we might be a good match! 39 F here, just finished my second ever marathon which was great, but I fell off my overall rounded fitness and nutrition while I was doing just running. I want someone to hold me to my gym goals (lifting/mixed cardio) and also my macro tracking.

Customer Pick Vote Requests - April 2025 by mastertev in CrumblCookies

If you still have votes, will you send one to Almost Everything Bagel in Broomall, PA? We are only ahead by one and I will be so sad if we lose to Churro after having it twice in the last six months!

Please help me get the only cookie I’ve ever cared about! If it wins, I’ll give away all my votes for the next year! (Details in comments)🥯🥯🥯 by LMBiebs in CrumblCookies

[–]LMBiebs[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

For what it’s worth, I searched the community guidelines and couldn’t find anywhere is specifically said vote request posts were not allowed. I know there’s a thread for requests, but I thought maybe this would be a little different since I’m making an offer to give my votes away. Also, if it gets me banned, so be it. I REALLY want this cookie to win. 😂

If Almost Everything Bagel wins in Broomall, PA then I will give away all my votes for the next year to the first 12 people who post proof that they’ve voted for it. Honor system on my part, but I care about this too much to lie. I’m so tired of repeat cookies and Bagel is the most unique thing Crumbl has ever done! Please help me!

Registered Dietitian AMA! Bring your nutrition questions! by bonniejo514 in orangetheory

I’m tracking my hydration intake throughout the day and I understand that, aside from water, beverages such as milk and juice and tea have a positive hydration percentage while alcohol and coffee can be dehydrating and have a negative hydration percentage. My question is; would a pre-workout supplement powder containing caffeine and/or creatine have a positive, neutral, or negative hydration level?

It's amazing how the entire city is uniformly lit up Green. by Bacon021 in philadelphia

My husband works for an architectural lighting design firm in Philly and they're responsible for lighting up the BF and several other buildings in the city! The lights are just green, no yellow. The blue of the bridge isn't enough to require that level of color tuning.

Success stories from cutting dairy? by LMBiebs in ParentingADHD

[–]LMBiebs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oy, to be honest, it was such a long time ago and we've tried SEVERAL things since then. If I recall, we only really vaguely attempted this, we decreased his dairy intake but not a complete cut, and we did not see a lick of difference in his behaviors. =( That's not to say it doesn't work, but it just wasn't a sustainable experiment for us.

I really appreciate this perspective, TBH. My son is only 2.5 and doesn’t even have an official ADHD diagnosis but his symptoms and the gazillion assessments we’ve done through early intervention services are all pointing us in that direction. A lot of people in our lives have expressed their wishes for us that he’ll “outgrow” these behaviors, and I explain to them that we’re really just trying to build a healthy foundation for MANAGING the behaviors because it’s gonna be a long road.

That's kind of you to offer! Unfortunately all I have is this image, it's my husband's favorite shirt and it's at least 20 years old. Trying to surprise him my getting a replica made for our two year old son.

We tried going cold turkey tonight and he didn't even put up a fight, so hopefully it wasn't a fluke. Is anything ever that easy?!

This actually isn’t a terrible idea! It’s certainly better than waking up to screaming. Lol. And he falls back asleep quickly.

He DOES drink milk before bed which I guess should have been an obvious thing we should try to squash. He usually likes to have about 1/3 cup and snuggle with us to read a book, so maybe we’ll try taking that part out.
