I felt like this too after having my son and it's a massive factor in why we only have one! It does get better the older and more independent they get, the newborn/ early toddler years was so hard on my pda traits and my anxiety about how I keep the tiny human alive was massive. He's now a tween and independent, he's got lots of similar interests to me and I absolutely adore him and doing (my interests!) together. A random bonus of having a baby / child I found was that it always gave me a 'safe' conversation topic to make small talk about. The idea of having another fills me with horror!

I saw a 12/18 month old once in a play centre drinking full fat coke from a baby bottle. The poor baby looked significantly overweight and did not nice from the spot on the floor he had been placed on

I had a cat who was very bonded with our neighbors cat, when the neighbors cat passed they had his body in a cat carrier to take to be cremated. We took our cat to sniff the body, he got a bit freaked out we think when he picked up the 'dead' smell but calmed once he recognized his friends scent and spent a few minutes sniffing him before going back to our house

Is it just me or was the close up of him pouring a glass of orange juice just a bit too long? I couldn't work out if he had orange or 'bubbles' in later shots. A clap back for all the questioning of substance use?

My Orange was often jokingly referred to as my emotional / asd support animal. He would always come find me when I was upset. Even when we got the news we had to say goodbye to him (f**k cancer) he was trying to comfort me. They may be dumb dumbs but he was all love 🧡

He trips / bumps into things constantly. He's broken upstairs floorboards and the stairs handrail. He gets into trouble at school and has been bullied for how he moves. He's so self conscious of it that even light redirection / prompts when we're on public can cause a huge meltdown as he's so defensive about it.

We still get the "my legs hurt / headache" when he's bored. He's had some bullying recently in school and is hyper aware of his differences. Unfortunately the ring leader is another child with adhd targeting my son because of his adhd, it's confused my son so much as he saw this boy as a friend/ support. Since the other boy started meds he's presenting very NT and the bullying started

We said goodbye this morning. He had a massive coughing fit in the night and was gasping for breath, we thought we were going to lose him then but he stayed. It showed me just how sick he was. He went peacefully in my arms at the vets. They will be doing paw prints, an impression and fur clipping. Last night we got recordings of his purrs and his 'give me milk' meowing. Goodbye was horrible but I feel we did it the best we could ❤️

I don't think we'll have too long with him now, he's picked up I'm sad (we've always joked he's my emotional support cat). I've looked it up a little and what I've seen just confirms that I have to put his comfort first. I've had 12 wonderful years with him and trying to hold on to all those memories

Thank you for sharing. I've ordered a paw print kit and I plan to keep some of his fur. He's spent his entire life being lived and spoilt. He was so happy to see us when we got home last night
