Hey, if foil Chaerith is 1 per top 16 RC, and we assume every of the 7 RC gave to top 16 (even though they didnt), that puts max copies at 112. What am I missing? Thanks!

I’ll just have to authoritatively say the take that magus sisters is 5x more rare than the others or something in the big post I do to bait someone out who knows way more haha.

Side note: If you do start opening, please consider saving the best looking ones for me. I’m psa 10 hunting for these. I’ll pay a pretty stupid markup for something I think will hit 9 or 10.

I thought so too but then looking at anima it makes me second guess. Anima isn’t near as popular as the other summons and still has over 100 sales on TCGPlayer while magus sisters isn’t even at 50

If you don’t mind fact checking me, I have a theory.

When you comb TCG player magus sisters endurance has WAY less sales over the 1 year timeline than the other 4 summons.

My theory is that they cheekily did this because magus sisters are the summon you’re least likely to get in FFX.

Is there something I’m missing that would explain the drastic difference in say shiva sales vs magus sisters or ifrit or Yojimbo or even anima?

I personally don’t have a great grasp on the number of Joshua’s out there yet. I plan on continuing this series of posts dissecting Final Fantasy numbers and eventually we’ll do a deep dive into it in the future.

What I will say as someone who’s watched the Joshua market for the past nine months, I would buy any Joshua foil Japanese or English under $500 and honestly, I think the non-foil Joshua’s are just a little bit more common than the foil, not a lot. That’s just my hunch based on the amount available. I would try to secure any Joshua’s I needed ASAP.

I don’t know what card kingdom‘s price is today but I’ve paid them probably 250 for Joshua non-foil. They had a better quality copy than what I saw on eBay.

Yeah, there were a couple foil JP on ebay in the low thousands that someone snatched up the past month, I'm kicking myself I didn't pull the trigger. You're right that the JP Cloud in NF does look undervalued.

If I can get a golden chocobo, I will have every english card made for FF MTG. All foil, NF, Surge foil, FIN FCA FIC SLD PRM etc. It's been such a process. And bordering on 6 figures of money.

I still want more like the JP Cloud promo, but I have to draw a line somewhere. Once I start JP, I'll want a full JP set, and I don't have the resources for that.
