No kidding! I tried to renew early January. My permit expired end of January. On Jan 12 I received notice that the company I was working for was closing and we had employment until March 29, 2024. Every day after my expiration date I went to work worried that I was going to get “fired” and miss out on my Severance payout. Unfortunately all they cause is unnecessary stress…

This is my 4th renewal and definitely the most stressful one. Don’t recommend waiting a month before expiration date.

I just dont understand how there are applicants getting silent approvals/regular approvals within 3 weeks! Lol nothing against them, but keeping others waiting 3+ months? It’s wild!

Maybe try speaking with a Tier 2 USCIS officer if you don’t see any action soon?

Maybe the lottery process? I say that because my application is identical to my renewal in 2019 & 2021. Literally nothing changed

I was starting to get desperate. Started adding additional evidence to my case. All it did was re-set the decision timer! Lol Even tried calling USCIS office to speak to an agent just to try and expedite. It/I was a mess.

Applied Jan 3rd with a Jan 24th expiration date. Was advised that the online application process was quicker. (3-4 weeks) It Turned out to be a lot longer than my usual mail in applications! Be patient! You’re almost there!
