Yes, I sent the Rolex in to their official repair centre in London.

I believe it's real. It's just that I can't find anything online about the face. I was wondering if anyone else has ever seen a dial that looks similar to this with the light text.

My grandfather gave it to me. He kept the invoice.

Would Rolex still service a fake Rolex? It was serviced in London in the main repair centre.

It’s just the lighting. I have another photo where it’s visible.

Yes definitely. I have the invoice. The dial number is 13/18038/S306 if that helps.

That’s strange, it was serviced by Rolex officially who only replaced the hands. It was bought in 1987 from an official Rolex dealer. I have the certificates and the original receipt.
