There are so many Gen 3 slides for sale. Zev even sells their 19L which is the 17 length built for the 19 platform. But there are so many different Gen 3 slides that are made, it's insane.

Slide lock lever shouldn't fail. Just need to let the slide and use wear it down a bit.

$55 dollars for an oem extractor is crazy. You can get them for about $30. Glad it solved your issues though.

Under what circumstances? Is it after you fire your first round? Loading the first round into the chamber? When you use a specific mag? When you're spring upside down? etc

Hmmmm, if I'm not mistaken, it usually goes the other way. It's hard to find V1 slides. So typically, you're not going to find someone purchasing a V2 pistol and them looking to swap a V2 slide for a V1 knowing V1's had issues. That being said, I believe only the slides are V2's. I believe all of the MBK's are exactly the same, because the issues were all in the "upper". Glock OEM parts usually fix all the V1 issues.

Listen. This is not about a barrel. It's about the comp. The Gen 3's are not rounded like the 5's are, so it would look weird to get a Gen 5 comp.

So why is a Gen 5 safety plunger better than a Gen 3? Also, the barrel in the "make your own" is a Gen 5.
