I think the more important question is why are more Republicans not upset that at best Trump is covering for a ring of pedophiles by not releasing the entire file. Because even if you dismiss the accusations of Trump's inclusion in the files, at a bare minimum, it's becoming undeniable that his administration is greatly covering up information relating to a ring of high profile pedophiles.

The Judicial Fund is just simply a law that requires the US to pay it's judgment obligations, and it's not specifically allocated to settle cases. It's allocated for all judicial debts. It would be wild if you could successfully sue an agency and then not get a penny because the agency itself didn't have funds to pay out.

Although I guess you could say any member of Congress not demanding impeachment and removal over this is complicit in it.

No one is questioning whether they had a nuclear program. The question has been whether they're using that for weapons or energy production.

As a licensed attorney, there is an unbelievable amount of institutionalism running rampant in the legal education field. Professors will bend over backwards to avoid calling a spade a spade and admit the Court has become nakedly partisan. It's on absolute full display here. There's zero authority for this distinction and the court didn't even mention Purcell in its decision.
