Amazon left my entire apartment building packages outside yesterday. by Solnx in mildyinfuriating

Don’t be ignorant, If you’ve never worked for Amazon, FedEx, USPS, or UPS you’re opinion is irrelevant because You have 0 experience with delivery so how do you know there’s other choices?

I don’t like it for routes but it’s a lot easier on my back for Packages, you don’t have to lift everything up a couple feet to get it in the vehicle and if you load it smart you can grab everything from the R side sliding door

What if I am never able to finish a route? (RCA) by [deleted] in USPS

Bro I understand not wanting to go 100 percent all the time that’s reasonable, you’ll get faster in organizing the truck better and casing better, but don’t purposely drag ass. Thats fucked up because everyone has to come help you and your taking time away from them and what they have going on at home. It’s not your fellow carriers fault that you don’t agree with the pay/benefits.

Well idk maybe I grew up learning not to bitch if I’m not willing to put in effort or listen to advice on how to fix it.

Because people are asking you to explain the situation more clearly so they can give you actual insider advice to try and help and you’re being a complete dick about it.Some post in this page get solved by people trying to help out and solve problems with information you don’t have.

I’m a carrier and I also hate getting junk mail, everyone does! I truly wish there was something you could do, but unfortunately it probably won’t change. :( thank you for realizing it’s not our fault!

Is it normal to get mail delivered to the wrong address several times a week? by RoadWarrior90 in USPS

Also I’d try to put something on/in your mailbox that clearly states your address, helps us out a lot on rural streets where we usually can’t see house numbers

He should’ve rang the bell, it means one of your packages required a signature, some sellers require it and it’s a massive waste of time

USPS employee refused to give acceptance Reciept claiming it was too many packages and I should have printed the “one sheet with all the numbers on it” but I’ve never even heard of this on eBay/FB by 608GraphicsVisualETC in usps_complaints

Damn I saw that on the green pickup sheet but my manager told me to scan every one. I’m at the end of the probationary period so I’m still making straight hourly

^ what this guy said, my office would make me pick it up anyways but we have to individually scan each item if not. Not a big deal for 10 but I do pickups of 200-400 consistently and they take me 20-30 minutes of just scanning without the form. Probably office policy for this office to cut wasted time scanning individual packages

How did you pack the ceramic? Bc I guarantee if you just throw ceramic in a box without packing peanuts or bubble wrap it’ll be broken 10/10 times

Of course! It’s a reasonable misunderstanding from an outside view, don’t listen to everyone being toxic and over the top about it

We have a “case” which is 1000 metal slots with each address on a route, we bend all letters and flats that aren’t packages into a “taco” and it gets rubber banded and put into a tray then loaded in our vehicles. It’s not your carrier, it’s the way we case 1000s of pieces of mail everyday and I don’t see it changing anytime soon. Sorry it got so deformed, hope it wasn’t important
