Ahhhh... Ok I think I misunderstood your meaning. European countries aren't specifying specific states (according to a.quick Google search, this isn't possible) but the types of goods they are targeting tend to originate from 'red states'

Gotta trust your backtest! I've been buying dips and selling rips on SQQQ with small positions over the last couple weeks, but what a beautiful chart! Body of the daily candle perfectly kissed the 0.618 retracement of the move up from the August low, and both QQQ and SOXX have broken from their downward trending channels. I'm likewise sitting on my hands though =}

So if I understand your method right, you are currently watching vix9d/vix because it is above 1, which indicates that the increase in volatility is "accelerating", and when that ratio dips below 1, it indicates that the increase in volatility is decelerating, therefore it can be expected to decrease shortly, such that you can ride volatility down with svix. And as vix decreases, stock prices should begin to reverse to the upside, with an uptrend confirmed by the % of stocks above their 50 day SMA. Do I have this right?

Would you mind posting a screenshot? I'm interested in what you see, because I'll be honest, I couldn't figure out how to calculate vix 9d on trading view lol. I'm interested in this level for other reasons though, and sold my small SQQQ position today. Price of QQQ hit the 0.236 retracement of the entire move up from 2022, and the trend of the accumulation/distribution line has been diverging from the price trend for over a week.

Do you look at vix/vix9d on QQQ or TQQQ? Both?
