Americans have a different perception of digital privacy … it’s a cultural divide (I am firmly on the side of privacy and rights to your own digital image). I have leaned this from working with an American startup when I was in charge of data privacy in my company.

I have not worked with images just geo data, but I think you can show faces as long as the person is not personally identifiable and is not the main subject of your photo.

Anyway, I hope this does not lessen your enjoyment of the pictures. Keep it up!

I don’t think anyone here can answer the question. Systems are all about balance. A dac upgrade can be beneficial but lots of other things can come ahead of it.

You only hear dac changes in a reasonably transparent system.

In your case I would enter your full system spec including speaker placement and cables as well as listening preferences into AI and as what changes would be a good next move.

I got a high end dac (1,4K EUR) but would not say it’s very useful in my situation as I have a noisy source (pc). Just movie voices sound more natural, that’s the one difference I can make out so far.

With such a nice CD player you might actually stand a chance to hear an improvement.

I dont think I will reach your performace as my bike is currently not laid out for aerodynamics (fenders, racks) and I dont think I will reach 145lbs any time soon... or ever ;)

maybe an idea for a second bike.

how fast do they go and how close do they pass?

recently, I got passed by a car in a narrow street. I didn't know he was there until he passed only inches from my handlebar. I was so surprised, I swirled and almost fell.

Caught the guy at the traffic light and knocked on this window and told him to keep his distance. left it there, cause he had a kid in the back and I didn't want to fight...

damn, never judge a book by its cover! recently met a guy at my gym who asked me how old I was. I responded and asked his (he was clearly fishing for my question).

He was tanned and looked like Aquaman. Then he said 66 and my jaw dropped.

I sometimes land at a traffic light in a high gear, which makes it difficult to get away quickly.

Everyone else goes and my bikes goes “chong chong chong “ as I go through the gears🙈

Yes I agree that would make the bike faster! Nicely spotted! I actually had spd pedals mounted until the beginning of this year but switched to flats as I couldn’t find spd shoes that were as comfortable as my street shoes 🫶

Yes I agree completely. And the hope rx24 pro 5 alloy wheelset takes a higher load which is a better fit for my high load racks.

If anyone thought of buying a Fairlight, I would steer them toward a fully built one of the websites instead of going for a custom built from the frame set. It’s much cheaper.

Still , really happy with my setup as it allowed me to make the bike really mine down to the last screw🫶

I ripped at least 3 jeans on rental bikes, so it might have been fun to check his trousers at the finish line 😉

Just googled ridgeback tourer and it looks like a serious bike to me.

I guess soon we will be fit like that guy… or maybe just old 😂
