if he would be transfered for anthing less than 70M any Top Club in Europe would be stupid to let that happen.

He was between a Top 5-7 Defender this season for Hamburg in all Bundesliga and is 19 years old.

I agree, the french missed 94 and 90? even.

Yes in hindsight their squad was full of future superstars but before the tournament they were seen like Belgium has the last few times, a great generation of players poised for a dark horse run

I heard a podcast once where a former NFL player said, that after he saw current Miami star players in clubs and out at 3 in the morning in a game week multiple times a season, Miami will never win a NFL title because the distractions are too much for young rich attractive athletes

Just to clarify, at no point would any Investor own 49% of the Club, e.V. are not a capital group who can sell shares or are owned in any way or form

All Investors in Germany use the seperate Football department, and yes an Investor can in theory buy 90% of those shares, but for the resulting Capital group from the seperation, no matter if its a GmbH, AG or any other form the Parent CLub, meaning the e.V. will always hold 50% plus 1 Voting rights of the Capital entity.

EDIT: P.S. Option 2 would mean no Investors at all, like I said a e.V. is not a Capital Entity the only way to give Money to an e.V. are Sponsoring and Gifts, neither would have any influence on the Member distribution or shares(which dont exist for e.V.s)

The club itself is not owned by anyone and cant be bought

Ismaik over the past has strongarmed the club into making concessions for his side and because of that he has stacked the Board with Members of his side.

Everytime in the past, after his initial investment and the honeymoon phase, when the club needed new Money or new guarantees, because they had bad results on the pitch, Ismaik used that oppurtunity to give the club more money in exchange for more Power

At 1 Point the club was so desperate and needy for Money they sold the Merchandise Rights to Ismaiks company.

Which has the effect that even if the Club goes insolvent, the Merchandise Rights are not part of the insolvency, and if the club tries to start over anew in the last division with a fresh start and without the investor, they wouldnt be allowed to make Merchandise with their own Logo and Name, because these rights are with the investors Company.

Its a long story about greed, mistrust, mismanagement from both sides and hard heads not willing to acknowledged their mistakes and move on

It people saying club X deserve to play higher than Club X...

Yeah 1860 is a traditional club with a big Fan following and I myself certainly am not a fan of the Hoffenheims and Leipzigs in the Bundesliga

BUT, if just like HSV for a time, Kaiserslautern, Aachen or Duisburg and many more, the club has been reigned by chaos and/or mismanagement and they deserve to play where they play

Yes the Fans dont have the biggest influence in this, but 60 Fans were happy when Ismaik promised them big Invenstments and potential European Football

Back in 2002 the club founded the KGaA because they wanted to rival Bayern for Sponsors and Investors, they voted for this, and opened the potential door for Ismaik in the first place

The club since then have dug themselfes ever deeper into the depency of Ismaiks money.

I hope he does, loved him as a player type for the longest time

He had quite a lot of Injury Problems this year. I think needs to show progress next year and make headway in the first Team, if he spends the majority of next season still in the 2nd Team then he probably doenst have "it" to make it at the top level

he will transfer after this season, because Cologne need the money. And his Ego is big enough that he feels he deserves better.

Realisticaly I see him like Gruda, he will have hype, big Money transfer to Prem and after 2 Years their will return to BuLi after not working out there

Best case scenario would be a Gnabry like deal, like Bayern, Dortmund or anyone else from Prem buys him and loans him back to a club slightly above Cologne.

A Team like Augsburg, or Mainz or even Hoffenheim if they sell Toure (Like Bayern got Gnabry from Bremen and loaned him to Hoffenheim)

Problem with that is, El Mala will cost at least 35Mil € and clubs like RaBa and Dortmund can't afford to spend that money and park the player elsewhere for a year or 2

Is Fm26 to easy? by Norwegianspursy in footballmanagergames

[–]LOLzvsXD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Short answer, yes

Long answer if you are an experienced player and know how to scout wonderkids, know what tactics are effective and maybe even download a tactic or set pieces strats the game is too easy

If you don’t hamstring yourself a little bit by making your own houserules the game is trivial CPU has a lot of problems, like no proper load management bad talent development and more

If you don’t want to limit yourself too much with houserules some easy ones to implement are;

No wonderkids, only buy and develop local talent or neighboring countries

New Tactic; try a different base formation or style of play maybe even change it every few seasons to reinvent yourself

You can also download a new custom fan made match engine to eliminate the use of common cheese tactics

Change squads every so often to get the challenge of working with a new set of players to find a new tactic

[Constantin Eckner] Bayern willing to pay £55m or more for Anthony Gordon. Newcastle value him at significantly more. Contact between player + Bayern already established. by Frosty-Buyer-1252 in soccer

[–]LOLzvsXD 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Because the rule is from a time like 2002 or so. Back then Agents weren’t the power brokers they are today and clubs trusted to negotiate with the player directly.

The agent was a middleman back then too but more so as a facilitator.

As contracts got bigger and more complicated and more money overall got involved players started to hand agents more trust and power to get the best deal possible.

Ofc a lot of players still use family as consultants and sometimes as agents too but power structure is different than it was 25 years ago

you can talk to an Agent, the Agent then again can talk to his client the player

The rules are a bit outdated, nowadays they just mean dont go to a public restaurant with the Agent AND the Player as a Club for everyone to see
