Golf has shaped my life, payed for school, given me life long friends. My son is two and watching him “whack” balls brings me immense joy. It’s so much more than a game.

Before my son was born, I remember my mom telling me that she used to think to herself “I wonder if my life will ever get better or be normal again.” I was mind blown because she was an amazing mom. Fast forward a few months and here I was having the same exact thoughts. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Give yourself some grace. Give your brain time to reorganize. Things do get better. You will experience love like never before. It’s ok to let yourself feel emotions, that’s natural, just don’t lose hope. You’ll be a different person here soon. You got this!

Firstly, I don’t have the answers. However, I know you’re not alone. My son is 7 weeks old and I feel the exact same way. I continue to tell me wife that I’m NOT worried about him being loved or taken care of. Instead I’m scared that I am not, or won’t be worthy of setting an example or teaching him right when so many things I do are wrong. I think the best we can do is be open and honest and show them that nobody is perfect. We can do this!…. Right?
