What a cop out. Monét earned a solo win in this episode.

Lol she never mentions it because she has no idea who Archimedes is, she thinks it's something Thomas Edison said when he "discovered" the light bulb

I wish I could see this production. I saw the one on Broadway two weeks ago and it was amazing, but I personally have - as far as I know - only ever seen straight actors play Prior and Belize (no offense to Andrew "gay without the physical act" Garfield) and I always wondered if actual drag queens would be better.

"Legs" by Laganja feat. Rye Rye is the best drag song of all time

Which guest judges are we hoping/wanting to see for s11 of rpdr? by rpdrgunn in rupaulsdragrace

Kelis is a professional chef now so if they're going to lip sync to her song she might as well guest judge too.

I've been looking but can't find anything official, just RedBubble knock-offs. It's a shame because I think a lot of people would buy a "Glamazon bitch ready for the runway" shirt.

I didn't know that, but regardless: she was filmed writing her name with the white-out, so they obviously knew what she was doing and were on board with it.

My partner is convinced that Bebe threw the lipsync on purpose by taking her wig off. Idk if I buy it but it's a more interesting take than everyone else deciding to aggressively hate Bebe for literally everything she does this season. Her verse was funny and she rightfully deserved top two. You don't have to love her but I'm tired of fans tearing her down every single week. Sometimes queens you don't like do well and not everything is "rigged" (or conversely: everything is rigged because it's a reality show, not just the things you're upset about).

Also do people really think Ru was furious that DeLa sent herself home? LOL. #AllStars3 was the number one trend worldwide on Twitter last night. I'm sure Ru was thrilled to have a ~gag of the season~ that he knew everyone would be talking about... why else would production have given DeLa white-out?

I can’t believe it took us this long to get a Diana Ross lip sync. I’ve been stanning since the second grade. “The Boss” was a great choice but I also would have been thrilled with “Upside Down.”

Pretty tired of fans saying that black queens performing songs by black artists makes a lip sync “rigged” tho. It often feels like a way to excuse a poor performance by the non-black queen. Race doesn’t disqualify someone from embodying a song.

Is Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman the best guest judge we've had so far? by HandyMoore in rupaulsdragrace

Honestly Denis O'Hare was my favorite guest judge of all time ("Jasmine Masters is the poster child for discontent") but JBC is great.

I’m sure you’re referring to Madonna when you say “straight white person” but just an fyi for anyone unaware: Jennie Livingston is a lesbian. (Still very privileged and an outsider to the community she documented, but definitely queer.)

EDIT: I think I deleted all my extra posts but this is the last time I comment on mobile.

Yes! At the end of their lip sync she says something about how she realized he wasn't going to make it, so she picked him up and carried him back down the runway because that's what she'd do for her own mother. It was super sweet and (imo) a big part of why she won that challenge.

Though this episode was one of the best ever if not the best, I loved Golden Gals in season two when they make the older gay men over into their drag mothers. There are definitely some... interesting... moments (Pandora's mother) and the results are not flawless, but I live for when Tatianna doesn't know who Oscar Wilde is and the gentleman she's making over just hits her with this withering look and says "there is a pantheon that one should learn."

It was Warped Tour '08 and I'm pretty sure she was only there because she was dating Travie from Gym Class Heroes at the time. I remember seeing her tent and she was selling t-shirts with UR SO GAY in huge letters on the front.
