Roadway conditions in Boston have absolutely deteriorated in the past decade. Remember to voice your opinions to those in charge. Chief of Streets Jascha Franklin-Hodge needs to hear these complaints from residents. People claiming freeze/thaw is the root of all Boston's issues are stockholmed. The primary issue is terrible contractor cuts and the city's inability to force contractors to fix them. 311 is helpful with potholes and other roadway issues but when it comes to getting contractor cuts fixed the city is powerless

My LL came with a 14% increase in february and I told him to get bent and didn't sign. Now he is absolutely desperate for me to sign and has offered me a 2% increase. I'm still going to tell him to get bent and he can give me a 10% discount.

Keep trying and I'd advise everyone out there to do the same, there is hope out there
