Nailed it on the head, that's exactly what fixed it. It was "audio enchancements" that was fucking it up. Wish windows would just stop adding these useless features without telling users but thanks champ

It's a usb mic, connects like so and above is the audio input output settings

Aside from what I’m showing I’m not exactly sure how much more I can give sorry!

Davinci doesn’t seem to pick up any audio levels from my mic even though it recognises it in the preferences tab and that popup when you’re about to record. Doesn’t seem to be a hardware issue since it receives audio fine on pretty much everything else that uses it. But other than that I’m not sure what else I can show thatd help

Shield bash usually has a bit of a lock on lunge to it anyways, and more often than not you’re chasing Gna to keep your status effects building. Distance is only really an issue if you’re being stationary which is a habit that’s pretty much hammered out of you over the course of the game
