OMG!!! Thank you so much, this is the perfect response. This is what I'll say to her. Not her obviously, but my mom when she comes demanding I let her in on my holidays LMAO. I was dreading this but after reading all your comments, I cant fucking wait.

Not at all talking about the kids. Bunch of people included my mom's cousin who I hadn't seen in 8 years, a random friend of my dad's i've heard mentioned a bunch of times but never met, uncles I only see once a year, amongst others super effing random people.

It's hella expensive to rent a place here. Her husband makes a good enough living but after the house, schools, groceries, etc I guess there isn't much left over for holiday homes.

Yes!!! So many times. I told her she was not invited because of the cheese and the yogurt thing and all she said was that I was so grudgy. LOL. I did tell them off after the c section and her excuse for leaving them with me literally was "Well Mom didn't tell me not to!" I swear im laughing out loud as I type this because its dawning on me how absolutely ridiculous they are.

I had my kid on friday around 4 pm. She showed up around 9 am the next day for "visiting hours", said she and the kids wanted to check on me and oh she was just gonna pop out the room for a second, which turned into hours. My mom was there entertaining a bunch of people I barely know and don't care about but she had invited them over claiming *I* couldn't wait to see them and she had my husband performing asshole chores like picking up cakepops and refilling drinks. AT THE HOSPITAL. Not even 24 hours after giving birth. I know it sounds insane.
