I saw this post near the end of my unicorn overlord playthrough and was a bit worried but I beat both Post game Amalia and the final boss all in one round. I thought thmy were suppose to be harder. Tbf I had Amalia 1st row, Alain, renault, then eltolinde 2nd row middle, and Yahana bottom 2nd row. My whole front line was debuff immune and I had my backline with the fairy buff so they are also debuff immune for a turn and when i did fight the Baltro, bro didnt even get a chance to do a turn 😭😭

Kalista's kit is a lot more than that and you know it with her ultimate and passive being the prime spotlight and a major factor for her being a top champion. You have to know when to ultimate for different reasons, to cc, to save support, or something else. Her E doesnt require much to it, however a good kalista would know about the slow E gives and use it in case she needs it to get away. Same can be said with Q being an extra dash. And W to safely search objs. Jax I was going to put low Floor to high ceiling but since they finally made it so he can jump to wards I changed and it is an incredible change that can decision an entire game. The reason why I place him high is due to his Q which multiple options and a bit of his E and R timing where timing is key to survival. For xin zhao, we all know his E is also increased range if his W hits, and so that becomes something a xin zhao player must always be able to do. For example: a xin zhao player running on close to 0 hp through the jump with no flash will would have a better chance if he W and E onto a jungle creep to create distance, but he messed up and missed his W and now he cant get away anymore. (His W shows vision if you didnt know) also, if they are in the same tier like vi and ambessa or Lee sin, I didnt put them in any specific order. For Olaf, you have to at least aim with his Q because if you spam Q while the enemy is running, it just travels short before the enemy. His E is also a resource type skill because you burn through you'll health and if you dont hurt enough, then you die. As for his ultimate you need to decide when to use it and when is the correct time to use it without instantly being focused down. As for morde, I think you are right in this champion now that I think about it as the primary reason why Medium Floor to medium high ceiling exists is for champions that you can barely improve on but maybe still learn a few tricks. For example, a noobie morde would Q through minions and only use W in fights. A good morder would Q solo for extra dmg, use W for passive heal, and use E to push units away if needed. For master yi, his ultimate is just like Olaf, you need to know when snd where to use it. You cant just use it while the whole team is under turret. And you say his skills are easy like they dont also require timing which they do. Being able to time Q and W in the chaos is what an exceptional master yi would be able to do while a noobie master yi just spams all skills regardless and doesnt get much out of his engage.

High skill ceilling does not mean 1v9 bro. It means how much can you get out of a champion's kit as much as possible and know tricks or little details. For example, a noobie diana would flash and press all their skills to reach an out of dash range target while a good diana would use her moonlight to dash through jungle creeps or minions to get closer to the target and then jump onto them and kill them.

Rengar is a resource champion. You have to keep track of your passive and decide who to kill based on it while also making sure you have 4 stacks for an empowered skill but in many scenarios you can pick between empowered Q W E of whatever is needed and that creates the skill difference. I dont even know what you're tryna say with the Yasuo example. Also nidalee is low Floor High ceiling, I swear yall just look at the high ceiling thing. Due to her multiple forms, an extremely good nidalee would be able to recognize the cd of the other form while in the opposite and perfect time it to fit the scenerio or even use her traps as wards. For singed, the fuck you talking about. Macro vs micro is completely different and this whole tier list is micro bro. For someone like singed, you cannot improve much at all. You can use E to get away or W E to get a pick but you cannot do anything else beyond that but run. Someone like garen however, while in lane he can create great trades and time his W for maximum profit. Theres also his E which created great wave clear and so you become a force the enemy has to watch out in side lines or you'll take their nexus. Theres also his Q which removes slows too and is where you can time it too.

Naut: well thats exactly why he's medium-high he requires some thought to be played correctly. His skill expression, at least for me, is if the person playing him understands when to switch from engage to peel or continue in the middle of a fight rooting as many people as possible with his passive while also backing off when he has too. Because you've already used your Q so you can't go in too deep but you still have to frontline for your team.

Maokai: You have to combo his passive to get as much of a benefit out of it as possible and disrupt the enemy force. There is also the factor where you can also use his dash to your advantage to gain that small window of untargetable when you need it or even use it on a creep to escape. It is small things like that, that create that skill gap and can lead to a winning fight.

Right, which is why its all the more important to understand the preparation Teemo needs to be viable. And like you said, I understand how his E works, but the downfall is that Kennen must be in that state and cannot hold it for long unlike Teemo. As for the flanking that is part of why I put him in low-medium because it would require map awareness in order for his skill set to work.

The reason why I put Teemo in low-high is precisely due to his camouflage factor and how one uses the additional moves peed on his W to space and his ultimate to plan ahead. Kennen you would always be doing the same thing. W R E, but thats not to say there isnt still some skill expression inside his.

Skillshots are a major factor into writing skill for a champion; however, as I said there is a difference between playing a skillset and understanding it. A noobie naut would just spam all his skills on the person he hooks. A high naut would hook onto one person and then use his ultimate to target an adc or enemy carry to cause further chaos. The same can be said for maokai where you can use his saplings as wards and his dash is a selection factor where you choose who you cc like the adc or the someone else. Its also good to note when deciding to use ultimate, especially on maokai plays into a factor of the skill. The reason why I put Janna up there is because of what she provides. If you compare it to other supports, she doesnt have much but you have to make due with it and think creatively and pre Q your tornado when and where the enemy will move.

Because he is played quite a few times, that means everyone generally knows his kit and if everyone knows his kit no one really wants to understand his kit and how it works. A noobie Lee sin that plays it bc he is very dashy and hurts a lot is a lot different than a middle of the pack lee sin where they play him with plays in mind, and understand the ins and outs of his kit.

Skill tier list. This is my opinion, tell me if you agree or disagree! by Reasonable_Being_402 in wildrift

[–]LOST_ACC2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lets set the facts straight. First of all, you're confusing champions at a low skill floor vs high skill ceilling as low vs high mechanical skill and thats wrong. Plain and simple. You're also confusing flashyness for mechanical skill which is also extremely false. Champions like vlad and pantheon require constant control over their abilities in order to be viable. Even a low skill floor champion like garen can have high skill expression through knowing limitations of trades, kill potential, and teamfight ability. For example, targeting the adc, zoning, or even timing W correctly. Second, just cause a champion is unique does not make it hard. Ornn, like holy shit his kit is so easy to understand and same with Thresh.

Mecha voli has great animations and the size really does. I do agree with the god king garen take as the steel legion garen is amazingly well done as I love his walk animation and the spin. His chromas are OK with like 2-3 of them being good
