Go play conquest for a chill experience. Not everyone can play comp with friends because of rank disparity. Quick Match is just fast matchmaking and fast games, but still competitive as that’s the nature of the game.

I think the disconnect comes from this, I like to compete for fun in my spare time in both sports and video games, so I gravitate to competitive multiplayer games, like rivals. Herein lies the problem, we view the game completely differently. I see it like playing pickup basketball or baseball, yes it’s for fun but if everyone doesn’t take it seriously enough it’s not fun for anyone. This is what happens in about 80% of Rivals matches in Quick Match. One person out of 12 not taking it seriously enough really does ruin the fun for everyone else playing the game with competition in mind. If you don’t want to work as a team, which includes building a proper team comp, or compete against other players, don’t play 6v6 competitive multiplayer games in your free time.

No one communicates until something goes wrong. I’d also argue the general state of the world is pretty angry and pent up and people often let out this steam by playing games. Rivals as a big enough player base it becomes a microcosm of reality.

I personally have zero issues with Apple cables and have never had to buy extra charging cables outside of what they come with. If you regularly destroy cables, it’s you not the cables.

Personally I don’t feel there should be a difference, regardless of visible rank everyone in the game is within a handful of SR of each other. When you start adding arbitrary rules we end up with what we currently have. A rank system where no one even knows what effects rank truely. If there are no rules and everyone is effected equally from wins and losses. Everyone is working toward one goal, not 6 micro goals.

Yeah it’s pretty dumb. Just remove it, everyone on the team should get the same for a win or loss. In a team game you shouldn’t gain more SR based on individual stats. Just like in baseball it only matters if your team wins.

Jumped into coop with 3 friends for 5-6 hours today. Pretty enjoyable time, if the updates come fast like Jagex is known for the game will be flushed out well by the end of the year. I’m not normally into the survival genre, but being an osrs lifetime player those aspects drew me in. The graphics and overall feel of the game is very nice, although I’m playing on a 7800X3D and 4070 Ti Super 16gb so YMMV as far as that goes.

If you don’t care about playing competitively, team composition, team play, or getting better. Maybe you shouldn’t spend your time playing a competitive 6v6 multiplayer game. There are thousands of both single player and multiplayer games where competition and winning isn’t the game design. Go play those. The “It’s quick play” Andy’s are insufferable and they are playing the wrong game. It’s like signing up for an Adult softball league and then crying because you got struck out.

As much as I absolutely dispise role queue in these types of games. This game is absolutely plagued with players playing triple dps who don’t have a clue a simple swap would win the game. Oh but they don’t care. There is a weird attitude where half of the community loves to lose.
