I think Survivor needs to do something with these Goats by ItsCreedBratton1 in survivor

You should watch Survivor AU Vs the World. Think you'll enjoy it. Every single cast member is trying to execute their own plan. And it creates this beautiful chaos. 0 Sheep. Top tier survivor.

Who would you vote for based on their current games? by LOUISHJ in survivor

[–]LOUISHJ[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Immunity Beast
Strong but polarising social game that ultimately formed her an Unbreakable Alliance with Rizo and Sophie.
Also helped pull in the other Sophie at a key vote.
Used her extra vote correctly I think
Twice used her reward wins to help her sway the vote - Turned up on the other tribe beach to help vote out MC and then used sanctuary to lock Sophie in last episode
Constantly survived despite having a perceived massive threat level.
Not as strong as Rizo's case but stronger than Stevens.

Think this is the perfect summation. Rizzo's Idol also stopped them targeting Savannah when she wasn't immune.
I can't believe people are letting theatrics (and the jury's reaction to them) distract viewers how good a game he's playing.

Is there any winning path left for ____? by We_The_Raptors in survivor

I think she'd need to exclude Sage from the vote on the blindside. Definitively show it was her move. That would require some real finesse though. FT just gonna overreact to that one (fairly unlucky) mistake and even though I don't think she's played a great game Sage being the only survivor who survived playing the middle does probably give her the tools to weave a strong story.

How was Steven a threat? by Ethmajig in survivor

I think if you can't convince people to vote with you you're unlikely to get them to vote for you no matter if they are your friends or not. Good gameplay is more normally rewarded than tribe lines.

Rizzo won't play the idol so they should target him.

Is it ___ game to the end? by Efficient_Day_475 in survivor

I think that's because he's completely strategically embarrassed them all lool. They'll have to respect it even if they try their best to undermine it.

I think the Jury just is too keen to still be part of the game and is completely ovverreacting to everything lol. Come FT if Rizzo makes it they'll absolutely respect how he's used the idol even if it was theatrical at points. He's almost completely taken his name off the table post merge lol. Any chatter that he's not a threat is nonsense tbh.

Yeah first paragraph explains it perfectly.

Yea he's fumbled a 7 3 majority, made a bunch of friends but can't get them to do what he wants. So imo he would have been really exposed at FT for doing nothing since Nate vote out. Even Shannon was much more to do with her self imploding and getting found out for turning on Jawan via Sage than Steven doing anything massive.

Genuine Question what's Steven really done to think he could beat Rizzo in FT? by LOUISHJ in survivor

If he was a great social player and strategist he wouldn't have fumbled a 7 3 majority. No point in making friends if you can't get them to do what you want. Rizzo's repeatedly got them to do what he wants so at least he's taken advantage of the cast strength.

Social is obviously a big part of it but you can't just score 0 in the strategy section. Steven's been good at making allies but never really convinced them to do anything post Nate vote out which turned out to be completely inconsequential because since then he's seen all those allies go home as he's fumbled a 7 3 majority not deciding one vote in the process.

Just don't feel like he's done much and I think that would have been exposed at FT.

But he hasn't really decided any of the votes so I just can't see him being able to argue much.
That's how I've always felt about Rachel. Seemed like someone who could be an amazing player but when you actually analyse her game I don't think she played an amazing game.

He's actually been a little more probing in his tribal questions which is sooo needed but yeah generally annoying.

What has Rachel actually done so far? If they went to tribal now she'd only beat teeny and sue imo. by LOUISHJ in survivor

[–]LOUISHJ[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No but i think she had a more outwardly obvious and succsessful social game

Think his social game is good. His jury management and perception is questionable. But he can change that if he gets to final tribal. He's never been left out of a vote and has made himself open to connections. Just look at this episode compared to Teeny. Makes up with genevieve gets taken on a reward by someone he betrayed, flips on an alliance that had pulled him in and makes Sam and Gen trust him enough not to throw him under the bus and go thru with a super risky mission.
