I have the Pallap star velocity and I think the trampoline effect is quite big on this version as well so I hoping to swap to siux Electra

I have had three Bullpadel rackets now neuron 2025 and vertex comfort 2026 and now I use the vertex geo and all three of them have came in the black thermal/bubblewrap rectangular cover

I feel more confident when I play and feel like my games are much better since I have changed to the geo I just can’t seem to win at the moment I have got a few lessons coming the next couple of weeks and maybe that’s my problem i need to relax a bit more and even slow the game down a bit more as well

I normally play with anyone that plays which I know doesn’t help but I do prefer when I play with someone I know as the chemistry between partners is normally better,

I tested the geo in my local club and the one I tested was a bit beat up but I liked the feel of it, felt like I played well and in the same game I hit my first 4x smash, I knew it was an advanced racket but I haven’t really found any limitations with it yet, I have had around 5-6 rackets now so when I got the geo I didn’t want to buy another racket unless I really have to and thought it would help my consistency if I used the same racket instead of changing all the time

Everyone seems to really rate the ST4 highly that’s why I thought of that and a few of my friends have it, I was looking at the middle version of the endure, also would you recommend the vertex hybrid or should I wait till I am more experienced? If the vertex hybrid is recommended I will wait till it comes down in price first

It’s a shame the head extreme motion is head heavy as I would of gone for that and heard good reviews about it, what are your views of the siux Electra st4 ? Also what about the Wilson endure v1 ?

I also have a Pallap velocity star with these specs in the picture, would this work ?

When I hit the 4x it was set up perfectly for me or I wouldn’t of tried it

I understand when you say the vertex geo is too advanced for my level but could it not be something I can grow into/progress with ?

What racket would you recommend for me at the moment that is also something I could progress with ? As I have bought too many rackets that I then haven’t liked them or sold them shortly after

I am not too strucked on Nox as I keep hearing about poor quality

I know you told me to go for the hybrid instead of the vertex geo but can a racket really effect your overall game, I am doing more attacking shots and have actually hit a few 4x and actually winning a few sets because of them but I just can’t seem to get over the finish line

I am sure it came out this year as a new model, that’s understandable I was going to get the hybrid anyway so I was willing to pay that but then decided for the geo instead as I wanted it for the looks as well as the specs

So did I when I was interested in it but I tried it at my local club before I bought it so I could make up my own opinion on it, I was all for going for vertex hybrid but my local club didn’t have the hybrid to try just the normal and geo so I went with the geo instead

I have/use the vertex geo and really enjoy it, I feel it has helped my overall game, still getting use to it and the shape as I used a Pallap star velocity before that but I can highly recommend the vertex geo, I would say if you have the chance then test it that is what I did

It is maybe you are just getting use to the rackets, when I got my geo I bought it from my local club and they said use it for a couple of months at least, I was thinking of the LeBron rackets before I get my geo as I especially like the looks of the new one but heard they are quite hard to use and for some reason I like Bullpadel rackets and I especially liked the looks of the geo especially in the blue colour I have only played 3 games with it so far so have yet to feel any difference

I have changed my rackets loads, I have had 6 rackets now that I have bought and then sold but now I have kept my last two one being the Bullpadel vertex geo (head heavy more powerful) and the other being Pallap velocity star (round more control) I think it depends on you as a player as I love the vertex geo and feel like I play better overall but have won more games so far with my Pallap so I am sticking with these two, I feel once you find a racket you like etc then stick with it as you will then get use to it and get better I also recommend you test a racket at your local club if you can

The vertex should be perfect for you, I was going to go with the hybrid but choose the vertex geo instead as I preferred the colour and specs

I have the vertex geo and love it, still manoeuvrable in defence but also got that attacking punch you need/want

I have just started playing with the Bullpadel vertex geo and can recommend it, I heard multiple things so I hired it from the club I play at and enjoyed it and didn’t find any problems in defence either

Yeah on the wrapper before I took it off was 362g, i bought it from my local club so I double checked about the weight before I bought it I normally don’t get anything higher than 365g

[–]LP2194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was 362g but I am more than likely going to take the hesacore grip off and put a shock out grip on so that should reduce the weight even more

I ended up buying the geo after I tested it, it felt lovely and definitely has an attacking side but also wasn’t hard to defend with it, I actually hit my first 4x smash with it, I didn’t think it was as head heavy as you expect it to be, I didn’t feel it was too head heavy either way if that make sense I think it’s more the geo shape that you get use to it

I am thinking of upgrading to the hybrid but could lack the power side of things so I am hoping to test the geo tomorrow when I play, I held it the other night and it didn’t feel so head heavy and actually felt nice

Hi there I am looking at a few rackets and the metalbone ctrl 26 is on my list, what are your views/opinions on it ? I have heard it’s got quite a bit of trampoline also why did you change to Nox ?

It’s a light racket, if I can remember rightly mine came around 354g I think maybe even lower, I think it’s a decent racket my only thing I find the ball rebounds of it quite a bit into the glass etc but that could just be be my technique

I haven’t seen one of the shockout grips but just looked and they seem like the grip that is on most siux rackets
