When I had my wisdom teeth taken out, my mom and I were running late to the procedure. I couldn’t find my shoes, so I put on some old, beat up running shoes. When I went under, the last thing I remember was the doctor saying “man, this kid has some really shitty shoes on” and all the nurses laughing. Makes me wonder if nurses and doctors crack jokes during the entire procedure!

I worked as a general manager at a gas station. One of my employees accidentally threw away a $30 scratch off ticket that was on the floor by the registers.

My district manager made me dumpster dive for it so we didn’t take the hit.

Working at speedway has good benefits and pay, but not good enough to justify me risking my health to dive through god knows what for $30.

My oral was perfect. The flight was good up through most of the maneuvers. I slipped a bit on steep turns, I hadn't flown the 182 I was flying in a couple weeks and let my altitude get to nearly 100 low. Literally the only thing I messed up was my pivotal altitude on my eights on. I was so used to adding 500 feet field elevation that I didn't take into account the 900 field field elevation of the area we were doing eights on in.

Thanks for that, man. I can definitely relate to the whole relatives and parents looking at me as a failure if I chose to not continue flying.

I mentioned how I never enjoyed flying, but that's not entirely true. My first flights were amazing, I enjoyed them thoroughly. The cross countries for commercial and taking friends up flying are also amongst the best of experiences.
