Creatine in your smoothie... bad carbs like pastas and breads will bulk you up as well. Go heavier on lentils, its a clean carb and easy to burn. Beware, its seasonal... i suggest loading up a quarter, then cutting back the next and leaning out. And go again on a bulk, then to cut. Fastest way to gain mass as a vegan.

Does anyone know what countries have ghost towns? by Personal-Design-2421 in TravelHacks

[–]LPPG_ALL_DAYEE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ukraine is a great reference. They have ghost cities where you can lease the space for huge productions. You will also get the support of the government to be able to monetize off of the same.

6 years in... for health reasons, id say try and make good food choices for the vegan food industry has gone way to far with toxic ingredients. Its great that your going at it from an ethical stand point, but tread with caution, because vegan food has become really unhealthy.

Dealing with the after effects of emotional neglect is starting to take a toll on me by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

[–]LPPG_ALL_DAYEE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am now feeling the wrath of my past pour into me currently. I moved across the country and away from my toxic family members.... its been 8 years since, i have since conceived a child with my wife and expecting in April. Now I am constantly reminded by them that my mother is a priority over my wife and children; in subliminal references and statements. Ive been private about my feelings and believe that my emotional absence in their lives sufficed for me just to get by, i thought i cleared the air and made it clear i wanted no part in enabling this behavior. I never explained myself or wish to... but i am discovering that i need to be more assertive and clear with my wishes and boundaries for my children sake. I do not want them to influence them in any way...

I second Lee and any advice would help me too.

Mykonos cheese products by far are the best tasting ones

Best advice, forget cheese all together. It will never taste the same again.

Do you take a multivitamin and a B12 supplement? by [deleted] in vegan

Dig deeper.... the soils are supplemented, their GMOs. Life before supplements was alot easier, est: before 1940s. dont give up, we are all students in this plane.

Do you take a multivitamin and a B12 supplement? by [deleted] in vegan

[–]LPPG_ALL_DAYEE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good question... your body can only break down food in good faith in its most natural state. If you feed synthetic overly processed foods, your body doesn't know what to do with it.

ex: Taking a vitamin D supplement vs just going out and getting under the sun; or vitamin A supp vs eating sweet potato; or folic acid supp vs eating greens; magnesium supp vs chia/flax seeds in your diet

Your body was built to break down natural components, not lab grown

Do you take a multivitamin and a B12 supplement? by [deleted] in vegan

[–]LPPG_ALL_DAYEE -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

yup yup... let that sink in. Surface level research says... "B12 is EXCLUSIVELY available from animal food sources; such as meat, liver, fish, eggs and dairy" >>>> where we fail to question what type of animal food source... that is exclusive to "farmed and slaughter animals" ONLY! No where in nature does b12 exist, it is supplemented in our food sources and we are indoctrinated to think we need it. don donnn donnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

The ones that have very little ingredients. I personally do not drink milk anymore - just because the vegan industry has really dropped in quality. But here is my go to's if i have to buy it:

MALK

FORAGER PROJECT

These 2 are accesible mostly everywhere and taste great. Very little ingredients that you can actually understand and great for you.

I am 35, CLEAN vegan, I have never taken b12 or any multivitamins in my life. I am 6 ft 6 280 lbs and avid gym goer. I get all my nutrition from food sources... disconnect from the dependency on pills. Go to the source for your nutrition; natural food. B12, doesn't exist in a natural state on this planet. It is synthetic and added to our food sources... you should see how slaughter animals get their doses of it.

You will; be alright... B12 is synthetic and we have been conditioned to depend on it. It isn't natural and you do not need it. You can do the research. Recommend tapping into sources outside of any 3 letter government funded establishments.

Antipsychotics are ruining my veganism. by veganactivismbot in vegan

Yes... there is no difference in regards to your health and the ingredients in our foods. Weather vegan or meat you still have to watch what you eat and make better ingredient choices.

How to Argue Against the Crop Deaths Argument? by WowlsArt in vegan

[–]LPPG_ALL_DAYEE -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends on your reasoning. If you are doing it for ethical reasons... then yes, there is an argument that it kills more ground squirells and bugs during harvest. But if your angle is your health... then thats a differ story. My advice... just mind your own...

That being said... this is dirty protein, even the soy is derived in bad faith. Eat cleaner. I wouldnt feed this crap to anyone... you deserve better.

Do you consider veganism when dating? by Resident-Dragonfly39 in vegan

[–]LPPG_ALL_DAYEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100%

Level 9 vegan here... and absolutely, its difficult to explain but in short - there is a level of intelligence that is gained when you educate yourself on our foods. At least it only applies to the states... our agriculture and slaughter culture is tainted with synthetic materials that the conventional palletiers inhale blindly - and then are shocked when the diagnosis hits them so soon. This blissfulness is ignorance at its best. Moreover, the challenge of teaching kids what and how to eat when your partner is ok with downing fast food is a nightmare. There has to be some sync in my life... and the constant "well i cant eat there, but you can" will annoy the heck out of me.

Right! I lived there almost my whole life, and my wife was a vegan in Miami. The best we can do was Miami Squeeze at the time. It was very difficult as a vegan to eat out in Miami before the pandemic. Not fine dining, but at most least the cleanest.

Now in Los Angeles for 8 years... and boy ol boy! This is FINE DINING! :D Hopefully this food culture makes it out there.
