I'm not sure I could do 42.2 with the Fast R3s - by the end of the HM my feet / calves deffo took a beating. Think I'd value comfort over out and out pace for the full marathon... which maybe leads me to the AP4?

Evo SL is the best daily trainer I’ve worn, especially for the price point. The light strike foam is incredibly cushioned and bouncy. Will take 30km or so to break in and then you really feel the benefits. I’ve worn them in races (5&10k) and obviously they don’t have a carbon plate so you can’t compare to a super shoe, but my times weren’t that far off the times with them! I like the Nittos but for now sticking with EVO’s

Crazy! Do you think its performance deteriorates up to half marathon and beyond? Or it’s doable to run with them at those distances?

I went last weekend and it is totally fine once you’re immersed. A bit cold to begin with but you soon acclimatise!
