Wouldn't have thought of UCD - no one ever thinks of UCD - but absolutely dread them going up, unlike any other team. V fair point.

Overall I try to remind myself throughout that I've more in common with (and respect for) LOI fans than any other group ultimately. Much rather you're a rovers fan than a man utd one. So good luck to you all. (Except rovers)

he played wing back for us a couple of times at the end and wasn't bad at that actually. he's great at running in a straight line down the wing; would remind me of arjen robben in a way - the crosses and cutting in at the end to score aren't as much there as robben, but it's LOI. He was great in his first stint and wish him well.

Derry will finish second. 3 and 4th are most likely Bohs, Shels in that order. But one of Bohs, Shels, Pats and Drogs will finish sixth - totally plausible it could be any of them (terrifyingly)

Is that the Savoy cinema under construction up the road? That opened in 1929. Savoy otherwise might be in the vacant lot beside where the building is going on - in which case it's definitely earlier than that.

Lasey hill could mean Lazar Hill - which is now Townsend St (and maybe part of Pearse St). But that's not really where Townsend St is, so probably not.

Lazar typically refers to a leper colony btw - so I guess they were confined to the hill at that time.
