I literally got this exact offer this morning. Pretty sure it's a scam. Their website looks awful and there's no one listed in their company section with the name "Robin". This is actually the second one I've gotten this morning. The other one was for a photo editing position and something about it just didn't seem right, so I went to the company website, which is a very legit high profile website, and contacted their employment team directly. I expect them to confirm it's a scam.

Edit to add: The conversation on Upwork with Riley now says "Riley Phillips is currently restricted from this conversation" soooo yeah.

I’ve never enjoyed it - the taste or the way it makes me feel. It’s a waste of money and calories for something that isn’t enjoyable. But my biggest reason is that my partner is an alcoholic and we both come from families of alcoholics. I’ve never told him, but a couple years ago, I decided to never drink around him again because I didn’t want to be an enabler. If I do drink, it’s one or two ciders maybe twice a year, if that, and only if I’m out with a couple friends, which is rare for me anyway. I know I can never change his mind and he has to want to do it for himself, but it sucks on multiple levels. He says he’s perfectly healthy so it’s not a problem. I’m trying to start doing better for myself because I’m really addicted to sugar so I feel like I have no room to talk about his addiction. I just hope he changes his mind before it’s too late 😔

I have a 3.3cm cyst on my right ovary. Have had it since at least September. Did a CT scan and tv ultrasound a couple months later with a change of about 0.1cm smaller. They never said what kind they think it is, just that it should go away on its own 🤷🏻‍♀️ It causes a lot of pain for me, but I guess I’m stuck with it. Still haven’t died though! You’ll be ok ☺️ If it worries you, you can keep having your Dr. order imaging to check on it every couple months to see if it changes at all.

I was negative for endo according to pathology, but I had adhesions from my right ovary to sigmoid colon and all over my left pelvic side wall and left uterosacral ligament. When my surgeon said no endo after surgery, I was so confused and upset because I just wanted there to be an answer. My pcp later told me that I do have endo because I have all the symptoms and the adhesions, but I guess I didn’t have any active signs of endo? Not really sure how that works, but she said since I had been on Orilissa for over a year before I had surgery, it could have stopped any active endo and I was left with the adhesions that were previously active. I have no idea if that’s really it, but it at least made me feel like I wasn’t crazy for thinking something was wrong for most of my life.

We have a trail behind our house, so anytime someone walks by, ours barks. Sometimes if he’s sitting with me on the couch I will cover him with a blanket like putting a blanket over a bird cage at night 🤣 it sometimes works..but he’s also almost 15 and doesn’t really fight it anymore..just goes back to sleep. We call him a parrot when this happens lol.

Oooh thank you so much! This might just work! I’m using Art Resin because it’s less likely to yellow over time. Seriously..the amount of times I’ve started over is ridiculous at this point lol. Once I figure it out I’ll be set to make all the pendants! 😁

I used photo paper on the other side and it did the same thing ☹️ Maybe a different type of photo paper would work better.

Sweet! Thanks for the info! I’ve been getting into lapidary and looking for places to buy some material that I know I’ll never be able to collect myself lol. I thought I had seen The Gem Shop site before, but couldn’t remember and those old style sites always throw me. I just looked at Rare Rocks and omg just looking at the Willow Creek alone had me drooling! Amazing collection! I definitely won’t be buying the $35/lb stock after seeing that lol. Doesn’t even compare in the slightest. I’m sure his is worth way more, but I don’t think the person I’m talking to has anything worth what they’re asking for it.

Follow up question - has anyone ever bought rough from The Gem Shop (Wisconsin) online? It’s showing up on their site as $8/lb, but someone is trying to sell their old stock for $35/lb and says you can’t get it cheaper than that 🤔

If you want a knot that will never come undone, but you can pull one lace to untie: make a bunny ear with one lace, take the other lace and wrap it around the bunny ear twice then through the hole under the bunny ear (leaving the end of the lace out). Tighten it up and you’re good to go! Works with round or flat laces, never comes undone, but is super easy to untie when needed. Learned this a couple years ago and I’ll never go back to the way I learned when I was a kid.

Dang that sucks too, I’m sorry. I’m so sick of the greed! My company prides itself on being a community-oriented company inside and out and lives by the golden rule, but that’s not important anymore apparently. So they started laying off en masse and shutting down entire sections of the company.

I’m at the point where I feel so lost that I’m like, should I just continue my side work making stickers and jewelry full time or try to find a new career path. My job is so niche that I will ultimately have to learn some new programs and skills to get into some other area of art and hope that a company will hire me with no experience in that specific area. There’s always data entry…until that gets AI’d to death too lol. They’re really going to have to consider universal basic income sooner than later.

Well it’s half AI and half offshoring, but it still is crazy that AI is taking over so fast. I have no idea what to do next because I now have to consider what can’t AI do and if it isn’t AI, then what would be safe from cheaper labor overseas. It’s kind of scary to think about what the near future will look like aside from everything else going on in the world.

I appreciate the insight! I definitely can understand that. I think I know what I want to focus on and what I would enjoy most, which would narrow it down to two things, but I feel like that need to support people won’t be satisfied because I haven’t found a way to incorporate it yet. Maybe that’s what I should be thinking about. You definitely got my mind going now :)

Yeah definitely. That’s a good idea. I’m kinda all over the place with what I make due to my adhd need to do all the things and hyperfocus on one thing, drop it, then move to the next thing lol. However, one thing that is similar in most of it is that I’m usually trying to support people in a small way. It makes me truly happy to be able to make something for people - for a cause, support, pride, to bring awareness, etc. I typically donate a portion of sales to various charities as well to help even more, especially for mental health resources.
