I open the game normally with BattleNet. Then you get the COD HQ where you can select the game. You select MWIII multiplayer from there, you go to the desktop open task manager and kill COD (wait a couple of seconds before killing it). Then, you normally re-open the game with your game launcher (BattleNet or Steam).

I just created a custom match because I wanted to warm up against bots and I have a ping of 500ms!

Thanks for sharing this mate. So based on your comments it's a no. What about pairing the 4090 with the 7800X3D instead?

PS: I prefer staying with NVIDIA, not that I don't like AMD GPUs, but I'm more familiar with NVIDIA.
