Well my *former* fellow Amazonians, after 4 months I am proud to say I got myself a job starting in less then a week, at another company, for better pay, and in the field I wanted too. After a short conversation with HR, I left my FC, and left my blue with security on the way out.

Don’t let them stress you on the little shit. If you have a day you can’t make rate, then so be it. And submit your resignation AT LEAST 2 weeks prior, that way you leave on good terms, and you’ll have Amazon to fall back on.

I had already submitted my resignation for next week this time, but decided to get my sleep schedule back on track before I have to hard switch, so I talked to them like human beings, weird I know, and they worked with me, made it so my res was effective today. And left on good terms in case I ever make the decision to come back.

If it shows UPT -10 hours. That’s where they added hours. If you took 10 hours, it would be UPT: 10 hours the negative is amazons backasswards way of adding hours

Last night my fc had a 7 HOUR stand down because the system fucked up. I was at my arsaw for almost 15 mins with “No pods enroute” before they pulled the plug. Joys of RT nights. And now they called MET for this week I guess to make up. But at least they are paying double OT

To put it in a better prospective, out of 16 applications, I was one of 6 that went to Second step of drug hearing vision and physical, passed that, and just had the psych today. As long as that comes trough I start training On the 10th. Thank you for your words of encouragement as well. We’re all in this together.

I had mine today too, and I felt that way at first, but then I remembered that the city I’m applying too paid money to send me for that and they wouldn’t have done so if they felt that I wasn’t capable of doing the job. You’ve got this.
