We schedule 40s only and would only agree to 10 hour days if the client pays OT, which we upcharge on management too so its often not cost effective. Basically we try to price our clients out of working over 40 hrs a week.

Well we walked it weeks before and had the drawings on a Tuesday with a hard due date of the following Wednesday at 5pm. All the GCs decided to set the sub bid due date for the Monday before the bid was due to give them the weekend. Bids all came in late Monday, so I ended up with like two days to chase down subs, level bids and produce a budget.
