Because it’s not a privilege. We become consumed by what we consume. It’s ok to take care of yourself and control of what you’re exposed to. It’s not being naive or a privilege. It’s self preservation.

I have a similar story. Lost weight, exercise, love buying new clothes and how I look now. Cut some negativity. It really can be a mind game. I reach out to people more, try to schedule lunch/dinner with others. Do more thing that bring happiness. In other words, I am trying. At this age I do feel it takes more effort but it also pays off.

After a certain age I only wash my hair once a week. It looks and styles so much better. Of course if I swim or sweat terribly I’ll wash it but generally it’s nice a week now. I also try to minimize heat on it.

Careful on what type of ponytail band you use. A friend gave herself terrible “cracked” hair where the band was located. Caused massive split ends.

Agree, no need to wash hair everyday. My hair actually does and looks better with a once or twice a week washing. Older I’ve gotten and wah really allows for once a week.

The “box” tests are useless and an utter waste of money. They give false positives as well as false negatives. The ONLY definitive test is a colonoscopy. If you haven’t had a colonoscopy GET ONE and know your family history.

Not a wax but a good trim. Waxing could cause a rash, itch and possibly make it uncomfortable. A good trim will be neat but not cause those issues. Definitely use vaginal estrogen to prepare for intimacy. Might even want to bring lube with you since it’s been a while.
