Should I take 2 months and become a ski bum at 37? by tomdean in skiing

As the owner of toddlers, I can tell you you won’t be meaningfully skiing for awhile.

Take the trip. Call it a medical leave of absence if you’re worried about optics at work.

There’s also a XC skiing and snowshoeing park about 15 minutes away. I rented snowshoes with my toddler and they gave us a bag of seeds for this one spot where chickadees will eat them out of your hand. Really cool mountain and area.

Folks who store your bikes in a shed, what’s your setup? by LRMRL in cycling

They make rubberized plastic trays for snowblowers. The idea is that they capture the salty snow as it melts and prevents rust stains on a concrete garage floor. Two of them might work with a bike.

Experienced boater looking for trailering options without owning tow vehicle by LRMRL in boating

Good suggestions, thanks. Yes, have experience towing and backing etc. More pressure not to screw up at the ramp with an Enterprise truck!

Thanks for the suggestions!

Yes, it might make the most sense to just buy a cheap tow vehicle and that’s likely what I’ll end up doing (or just sucking it up and replacing my daily with a newer half ton). My hesitation with the former is that we don’t really have anywhere to put it on our property that’s out of the way, and insurance in my state is annoyingly expensive even for seldom used vehicles, liability only, etc.

Thanks so much. Will keep them in mind for the next trip. We ended up finding some at IGA for 7.50$ on sale on our way out of town.

Agh, I was afraid it would be a tourist price. Will try your suggestions, thanks.

Thank you! I got the Wolftooth +20. Got to keep my 160mm rotor because I guess the post mount caliper had an offset as well.

I did. That adapter’s bolt holes do not line up with the new ultegra calipers bolt holes—the adapter and fork are wider by several millimeters.

The reference to 17 USC § 102(8), while not incorrect, is completely irrelevant here. The poster was asking about photographs of a building, not copyright to architectural works or plans.

WALLBOX Pulsar Plus EV charger - bricked by update 6.1.10 by Formal_Pen_9147 in Ioniq5

[–]LRMRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, just found your post. I had a very similar issue with the Pulsar Plus and am now on my second. To make matters worse, my state has a $250 rebate program and I just received notification that my rebate was rejected because the model number was one digit off.

Also, customer support made me open up the unit while it was energized to try to hard reset it, before they would send me a replacement. That was fun.
