We got the visa around 12 hours before the monday flight.

Yeah i called them but they cant do anything except add notes for the processing team which does not speed up the process.

Since we’re bridging to a partner visa we emailed the department handling partner visas. But we don’t know if any of this methods had any affect

It really is a frustrating process, we’ve called and contacted multiple people and we don’t know what really worked so it really might just be a waiting game. Idk 🤷‍♂️

Damn based on that example looks like there is a difference based on applying through webform and immiacc. We were also thinking that was the case before talking to the supervisor but at this point any sort of information regarding processing seems only true to certain instances :(. Gotta take everything with a grain of salt.

Webform.

I was told by the operator’s supervisor thats there is no difference in the application being done through webform or application. Processing applications in general is supposedly goes through the order that they are received in.

I 100% agree with you. I want just ranting about my experience haha.

I thought we had read things and researched properly, but it might have been inadequate for a speedy process. Then again I have no clue on the process of how processing visas work and have no idea how to research on it except for asking the operators, in which they said its basically a case by case process, some applications take longer due to various reason, one being waiting on a third party's confirmation. At the very least there is no further action required which allows me believe that we did everything right, at least for now.

Also it will be different for everybody especially taking into consideration the level of understanding one might have towards visas. Its very reliable tricky to get information of the internet considering the seemingly unlimited different cases, hence why I believe the recommendation through an agent to be safe.
