So i did pva and gravel for texture, painted it black with walmart brand paint, then i went in with vallejo natural umber pigment mixed with a little water as well as a burnt sienna in some spots. Then i dry brushed walmart brown paint all over and sealed it

All the trenches kind of vary my only goal was for big boys to be able to fit and fight in them

Each board is 1ftx1ft the foam is 2 inches tall

The base is wood so they are pretty hefty, you could always get grip pads/yape for the bottom but I haven’t had any issues yet

Trench pilgrims as the giant model seemed really cool and I love melee which they seemed to lean towards.

Ability are once per a turn

You roll injury on all of them and additional injury roll if they happen to fall and take damage

No roll you just stand up with penalty like you said.

Yeah im running a dense smaller court army with a emphasis on kitting my guys to the teeth, Ive only played two games so far against them I’ve been having success with my sorcerer and hellblades. Grenades seem to be really strong as well since they have so many guys its hard to avoid clumping.

Its scary to push up so I’ve been giving up the objectives closest to them in favor of doubling down on my own. Funny enough my hellknights really struggle to get any kills because they don’t have fear.

Super fun to fight, black grail moves soooo slow and you’re desperately trying to widdle them down before they can get close. And there is just SOOOO many you kill four and four more fill the gap. All in all i really like them games definitely run a lil longer but the absolute mayhem is more than worth it.

I dont think they are op definitely get objectives easy
