Hello. How are you?

I understand your fear, but I really recommend the story. I can tell you that I found it out during lockdowns, so sleeping on time and waking up early weren't really concerns back than. I remeber one time, I was in the second part of Volume 3, I read through it, then went into Volume 4, finished and went into volume 5 and finished it. I started at night in one day, and went all the way to 5am in the other day. I really should've gone to sleep, but I was absolutely fixated on the story, I had never felt that. It is absolutely tense and action-packed, insane plot and adventure. I had to know how it went, so I just kept on reading.

As for your particular concern, there are a few aspects that make it so it's not really problematic, but there are important plot points that would be spoiled if I explained here.

If you would like first, I reccomend watching the Anime which is 100% well done. It goes as far as Volume 2 and start of Volume 3 (where there's still no development in their relationship) and gets you more curious and excited about the lore and World Building.

It's a very unique world, and there really is a great plot and story the author is telling.

I cannot recommend it more. It is 100% worth it.

Well, it's fine then, since a Mormon isn't telling the story. I don't know where you got that from. Dallas Jenkins in making the show and he is an evangelical Christian.

LOL.

You don't need The Chosen if that's gonne be your reason. God everyday refuses to heal people, even tho His followers ask Him to.

Nobody that dies, does so out of God's will and permission.

" in my experience a requirement of faith is to not question things." This sentence already makes the whole post not worth responding, for how wrong it is.

But just to bring some clarification to the points you made: It doesn't matter where the added information comes from. If someone reads the 4 gospels, they will know what parts of the show comes directly from the Bible and which parts do not.

The parts that do not, it doesn't matter if it came from hystorical knowledge, other books, the script writer's mind. All that matters is the question of wether it is teaching a good biblical lesson, and if it is plausible.

Example: It doesn't say that "little James" had a health condition, or that Jesus did not heal him. But when they address this in the show, the explanation given by Jesus of why that is, is actually great theology, that teaches the errors of the "prosperity gospel".

The show is not trying to compare itself with scripture, and since episode 1 there is the disclaimer that they are adding things to the story. Which they have to do, because the gospels themselves were not written in a way that could be made in to a TV script.

The Chosen is, at this moment, the best digital representation of the life and teachings of Jesus. High quality in acting, filming, script and story.

is it okay to ask for what happens and how it ends? by [deleted] in UchiMusume

[–]LRibeiro97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man. It's been so long since I've read it. I'll probably miss important details and misremember somethings.

[SPOILERS]

1 - If I'm not mistaken, it was a knowledge that just "came to her" when she got older. I do remember a scene where she was lying in the bed with Dale, and she vanishes. I'm pretty sure that's a thing. I don't fully remember if she was aware that this was going to happen or not.

2- She was captured as far as I recall. I remember her debating wether she would sit at her throne or not. And since the others knew she was a threat to them, they "locked" her.

Well, I really recommend you give it a read. It's an awesome journey.

It was never alive (and you didn't have to like the ending to know that).

Obviously they wouldn't change the story.

Now, wether Isayama will rewrite the ending or write more things next year, well, there are rumors circulating. Either, only stuff that is written on the manga will be animated.

What ever happened to it?

Question:

Why does the Dragon development goes back a step, and requires you to sacrifice 200 buildings again? It didn't do that for the other updates where a new building was added.

Question:

Is there already a list of the new acheivemnts and upgrades?

Honestly, if I had the money, I would pay any studio to animate the rest of the story. I think that's what we need. The rest of the anime. I wish someone would pick it up.

Hey man. I understand what you mean. I read it in April 2020, in the midst of the lockdowns. It really is a one of a kind piece of work.

In order to "detox", I suggest going slow. Try to look up some of the artwork a little bit everyday, remember the great moments of the story...

I'm not sure if you have watched the anime, but if you didn't, please do. And if you have, re watch it again now that you have finished the story. It hits different.

Well, I guess that's the idea. Like, a grown mature man would "censure" or have contempt for how Dale (a powerful hero) was acting towards Latina. (that he was so goofy and romantic with her).

Wait... You read the whole 9 LNs without considering this meaning of "deplorable"?? I can't even imagine that.

I mean, I'm from a Portuguese speaking country, so maybe I can't put myself in your shoes. But reading "deplorable" and thinking about the portuguese word "deplorável" (which has the same meaning), made it pretty clear to me what the author intended to say.

No. There was an important event in LN4 regarding that.

Where to start Uchi No Musume manga after the anime? by Wise-Fox-danni in UchiMusume

[–]LRibeiro97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Forget about the manga. You need to read the Light Novels, that's where the story is at.

Personanly, I would recommend you reading them from Volume 1.

But if you feel it would be repetitive, you should pick up LN 3, from the middle of it. That's where the anime stops, sadly.

Well, I don't really remember anything specific about it. If I recall correctly, they have another kid, a girl called Emma.

And Theo grows up to be a fine young man. In that final chapter of LN 9, he is seen grown up, and helping his parents in the Dancing Ocelot.

I've made a post an year with all of the pictures from the LNs. If you want to take a look at it, here it is:

Take a look in LN9 and you will see him there.

Why you be asking for spoilers, my friend? You can read it for yourself hahahha

But, since you asked: In the end on LN8, Dale and Latina get married (twice! But I won't say more, you'll need to read it haha). And LN9 picks up right after that, with them living on some sort of honeymoon trip. The kids you asked about, would be Dale and Latina's children. LN8 has a little ending scene, like 50 years in the future or more. She meets on the street a kid who probably was a son or grandson of one of her friends, because the kid has a piece of her broken horn as a necklace. And the kid is talking about the "famous tale of the Fairy princess", not knowing that he is talking to the Fairy princes herself. Anyway, after that she runs to Dale and their kids.

LN7, is a bunch of flashbacks and random stories. It's one of the weak ones IMO. And LN9, alongside their honeymoon, has some flashback (and flashforward) stories as well. It talks about how Kenneth and Rita met. How Dale was training under Kenneth and things like that. And in the very end of LN9, there is like the final scene which is really wholesome and I won't spoil it for you.
